Wassup fellow WDWmagic members its me the-reason14. Anyways, I have a question, to those who have vacationed to WDW in September like the week after labor day, is it lower crowds there. My assumption is yes but you never really know, this will be me and my dads first WDW trip in September and we are really kinda anticipating hardly anyone there.

Any input, stories/experiences will be very welcome and I thank you in advance.

September is definitely less crowded than the summer months, but definitely not as empty as it used to be a few years ago. When my family used to go, we would walk on the mountains, ToT, everything maybe with a top wait time of 15 minutes.

Those were the days.

The times I have been during Sept. have been slow. Last year for instance The day we arrived we got to the MK at like 11:30pm and with in 2.5 hours rode 9 rides and ate lunch. That with riding Splash, BTM, and Pan. And we never get to do Pan on the first day cause I absolutely refuse to stand in that line that is always long. We really love going during September even though it is still hot down there in Sept.

Thank you guys, I appreciate the responses. :)

Oh yea, the heat, that shouldnt really bother us lol, it isnt really cold where we're from so we can def. be ok with that. I told my dad, even if its crowded it shouldnt be too bad and even if it is, it wont ruin my vacation because Ive never been during a slow time so whenever its pack its basically like its always been.

I go in September all the time. Last year was the first time I noticed the attendance being way more than what it had been in previous yeara. The longest line a few years ago in September I'd wait in was for a bus (10 minutes). This past September it was dramatically worse. The longest line was still for the bus but this time the wait was 1 1/2 hours to get back to Pop Century after a day at MK. :( This is the #1 reason why we are staying at CSR this September.

2 years ago we went in September and the longest line we dealt with over the entire week was around 30 minutes for Soarin. It was definitely the lowest crowd levels I have ever seen at WDW.

Ahh, after seeing the Soarin' comment above, when I was there the first week of October last year, my boyfriend and I waited in the Line for Soarin' for 14 minutes ( we were there about 10:30-11ish) when the wait time had said 30 minutes.

Main Street was pretty crowded, but the World Showcase felt almost empty.

Must remember these are opinions. I said it is more crowded than it used to be, which is true, but my family and I have steered clear of Disney during the Summer months for years.

My comparison is from sept. from years ago, not from the summer months.

Our favorite time to go is September. So far we have been fortunate and have not had to deal with the hurricanes. Seems that we were lucky and our trips were between storms over the last few years. We visist WDW 2-3 times per year and we have found over the last few years that the lines are tolerable in September. I do not recall waiting much longer than 30 minutes for anything. The worst part of September are those darn love bugs. They are quite annoying.

September is a favorite time of ours , we've been the last week of Aug going into Sept , not bad, been labor day, not bad either but you do have the nite of joy thing that goes on usually that friday nite after labor day. Now we usually go 2 week in Sept and love it, we have noticed that the crowds picked up a bit (not crazy though by any means) but also too now they have MNSSHP in Sept which is great.. ohh also love bugs are pretty plentiful in Sept....last year was the worst I'd seen it in 12 years of going in Sept, many CM's even commented over it , but again not enough to keep me going in Sept....And kids are back in school too, although we are the bad parents for taking them out of school.:fork: . Oh well anyway...September is a great time to go!!!!!!!!!

35 more days for me!!!!

September is a great time to go. We are usually out of the stormy mid-day weather. It sprinkled last year when we went on Labor Day - and we got on the train - it was over before we went from Frontier Land to Main Street.

I don't remember any love bugs on that day. Maybe they take the day off, too.

Love Bugs are our friends:slurp:! extra protein. I don't even notice them at the World, too used to them in real life so I don't care about the Disney love bugs!

we usually go end of september/beginning of october, we're doing so this year.

whenever i have been there at these time i think the longest we had to wait was half an hour for TT,thats it!

i think it also all depends on the time of day too,if you want to go on big rides such as SM,BTM or space mountain, aguably the best time to hit them is during shows,my family normally go on BTM and Splash when the country bear jamboree is running because the queues are lower by a bit.

obviously the very best time would be during the parade, because everyone is out whatching that, but that is recomended,i like to watch the parade too.
