Fresh hot somosas with mango salsa from animal kingdom...we even had to wait a few minutes for a new batch to come out so they were super good.

Drinks at the House of Blues DTD 2014- Long Island Iced Tea & a rum/7up. Bad pictures, but happy hour here is great & drinks tasted pretty good.

Dinner at The Brown Derby 2014- I had the charred-glazed filet of steak, which was delicious. DH had a seafood dish that I cannot remember what it was called or find it on allears menu. Any one know? DH liked it but wished he would have gotten my steak instead

Brown Derby 2014- Our dinner took a long time to get, they were busy and kids were running around screaming (not the atmosphere we had hoped for) so they brought us each this oyster chowder for free. It was really good, but was so rich I only made it half way through!

Brown derby dessert 2014- DH had the famous grapefruit cake, he still raves about this. I had some sort of strawberry cheese cake, it was incredible but I do not see it on their menu anymore.

MK 2014- DH favorite snack, I believe it was pineapple on pineapple, but that could be vanilla icecream!

Be Our Guest Dinner 2014- I had the pork chop and mac-n-cheese, DH had the steak and pommes frites . Best meal we had the trip, both the chop and the steak were perfectly cooked! DH said best steak he has had in a long time... and we are from Omaha, Nebraska (Omaha steaks, stockyards etc... most of the city smells like beef)

Be Our Guest 2014- dessert for me was the triple choco cupcake and DH got the grey stuff... and let me tell you it was delicious! We were celebrating our engagement at the time hence the "congrats"

Chef Mickey's 2014- The oreo thing... not sure what it is called... SO GOOD. I may have had more the 1.. or 2...or 3

Columbia Harbor House lunch 2014- A little messy looking (this is how they served the tray to us) but pretty good. I had the fried shrimp plate, and DH had the lobster roll. DH only complaint was maybe less mayo on the roll. For dessert, the choco cake for me and the seasonal cobbler for DH.

This is dinner at La Hacienda De San Angel 2014- YUM everything here was great, the atmosphere was also awesome. For me Tacos de camarones and for DH I am not 100% sure, it was a pork dish that I do not see on the menu anymore. Either way, I remember the puree being delicious and the meat perfectly cooked.

My favorite snack of all... mickey shaped choco covered krispy.

Devious look... I know. In my defense, the night before we had traveled, we were supposed to arrive to WDW at 10pm only for our flights to get all messed up, we were stuck in Houston, united wouldn't help us and they were the reason we missed our connecting flight, after hours of back and forth, debating just sleeping on the floor somewhere, being left at the hotel shuttle pick up for hours, we finally got to a hotel at about 2 am, caught a flight the next morning (missed out on our first night at WDW) and once we had finally made it to the parks all I wanted was my choco mickey krispy.

Mickey shaped things make the world go round... well at least my world

Beef bolognese from trattoria al forno


The beef bolognese pulled apart where you can actually see what's waiting under the sauce. The meat was fork tender and had a great taste. It was really good.


The giant meatball over cheese manacotti. The meatball was moist and had great flavor. The whole dish was good.

I had a bad dream last night that I was eating a delicious meal at WDW and halfway through I realized I forgot to take a picture.

Cheese empanadas from Mexico in March 2015. I got the child's portion since I wasn't that hungry and I was really disappointed that isn't covered in green sauce and cheese like the regular portion I had gotten in June of 2015.

We're still debating whether or not to go to hoop dee doo in April. Is it worth it? Is the food good?

My family and I have always enjoyed the Hoop Dee Doo Review. We think the food is actually pretty good, not to mention the show is really entertaining and funny. Go for it - You won't be disappointed.
