What's their backstory ?
Do they represent easter eggs ?

Surely they don't represent the Old South ! :lookaroun How Politically incorrect !

We have many groups like them in our area. They are around to represent women of the old south and southern hospitality. I never really got why people feel the need for them, but whatever.

And while they look like Easter eggs, that's not it.

How neat to have a turn of the century Easter parade on Main Street with big hats, poodles and everything!

Kudos to WDW for doing something fun and classy.

Are those girls Disney CM's? They look like the Azalea Trail Maids.

That's what they are - but in the past they were part of the parade for Easter - I guess they just walked Main Street this year? I was also under in the impression in past years that they were CM's not like the 501st troupe at MGM for SWW.

Cause theres nothing quite like a Southern Belle...

And thanks for the pics. I didn't realize they would decorate at the resorts.
