WDW Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches

They only have 72 grams of carbs each. I personally preferred the old main street bake shop when I could go in there an get two fresh baked cookies and then they would go over to the ice cream parlor and put whatever kind of ice cream in the middle. I know you can still get a ice cream sandwich at the bake shop with two fresh cookies but I think you can only get vanilla ice cream now.

The best place to get them is either the Main Street Bake Shop or Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. They use fresh made cookies and the one on Main Street uses homemade ice cream- much better than the ones from vendors, IMO. But yeah, that's definately a favorite of mine.:slurp:

Homemade ice cream at WDW would be highly illegal! :animwink:

Yes, they are stellar! I usually have about one a day when I'm there. Nestle makes them, and I'm pretty sure you can get them at your local grocery :-) I saw them a while back.

No, I know for a fact that you have at least 3 a day while at WDW because I get at least three a day too.:hammer:

How about "Frozenanna's"? Do they have those anywhere in the parks. For those who do not know, a 'frozenanna' is a chocolate covered bananna that is frozen of course.

If a person is hoofing a reported distance of 7 miles per day tromping the parks, do you think Dr. Atkins would forgive one ice cream sandwich? :veryconfu

Yes, on my last trip my friend Diane had two a day. One for breakfast and then one for bedtime right before lights out snack. I was amazed she didn't get sick of them. And then she was thrilled to discover that they sold them in her local supermarket.

I love those! Yummy in my tummy. Right now I'm suffering from Disney depression. I have to wait all the way til the end of May to eat one. I'll just drool over the pic right now!

Oh have you all tried the Root Bear floats in Liberty Square?

They rock major socks!

.. as long as the mint ice cream stays far away from them. hehe.. that would be an interesting combo..

My friend who is addicted to these told me that they now come entirely covered in chocolate. As if the cookies and ice cream isn't enough, you can OD on the chocolate covering.
