WDW - Changes to Spaceship Earth

These monitors do detract from the ride. First of all they light up the other side of the tunnel and show all the wires and pipes and secondly they don't make much sense going from this modern screens to a caveman era. Bring back the mist and darkness!

If Disney made the change, then it must have been necessary. I think we all need to adjust to the changes Disney makes (including myself). We all have to remember that there are thousands of guests coming to the Disney parks each day. Many of these guests have never been to on Spaceship Earth, Disney World or even this country. They will never know the difference between the old way and the new way. Many people do not know the difference. Only us true fans sometimes hate the changes Disney makes.

I took some friends to Disney World last year and they went on Journey into your Imagination for the first time. They loved the new ride because they never were on the old ride. This was their first visit to Disney World and never experienced any of the older rides.

In closing, we should accept the changes Disney makes. This includes closing and replacing our favorite rides. They will most likely make the changes and updates for the better.

Ok…I’m done complaining!!

Good Night

Hello? JIYI is the prime example of how more wrong you couldn't possibly be! Then of course there's Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey, Doug Live(thank god it closed if they would only bring back superstar television!), Main Street Emporium, Mr. Toad, 20,000 leagues, Horizons, Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Adventureland theming, etc., etc., etc..................:brick:

You have a very good point, I really never thought of it from that perspective......

This is why I said most likely. I was very upset when World of Motion closed and now I love Test Track. The same goes for the Tiki Room, I love the newer show. Main Street Parade, Food Rocks etc, etc. I am sure we are all going to love Mission: Space when it opens even though we were upset they got rid of Horizons.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

You have to think of it from the perspective of those people who have NEVER been to WDW before..these new rides are proboly AWESOME to them....and honestly..Im all for change and progression...yeah..i was peeved that WOM closed..but uh..Test track rocks...Horizons was my favorite ride, but I have faith that M:S is going to totally make up for it....yes..they have made mistakes (JIYI)..but no ones perfect..not even disney (Oh yeah..that didnt sound TOO obsessive..did it?)
