WDW Busses

I once had a monorail jump the tracks and total my car.
Or did I dream it? :p

At any rate, I would think it to be the driver's fault rather than the innocent bus. :)

Tyler... it was the drivers fault... he admitted it himself (and got termed too!)... he cut the turn (which is ILLEGAL!) and hit my car. I had my parking brake on (which didn't fail) and had the shifter in 1st gear (like you're supposed to in a manual)... as for my parking... if I can park in your apartment complex with all the pedestrians, I can park anywhere

Tyler, you are the ONLY WDW bus driver I trust.

LOL... Rob, you know I was just kiddin. Oh, and as for what gear... Reverse is actually the more proper gear. *Shrug* just a technicality.

Anyhoo... I'd hate for you to be biased upon a whole group just because of two idiot drivers... After all... two out of 936 isn't that bad.

There's more than 2 I don't like... some of the westclock drivers should be shot at pasture... especially when we're running late to work, and they stop in the middle of the road, blocking traffic, to talk to another bus driver, who is also blocking traffic.

Tyler... you're still the ONLY WDW Bus Driver I trust

When I was there in August, I made a point of looking for Tyler - I spent the better part of a week staring at bus drivers' name tags! (A couple of times, I thought Disney security was considering throwing a net over me! )

P.S. I finally asked for him at Bus Information, and we eventually bumped into each other. He's a tough guy to find!

 Tyler, Thouhgt you might enjoy this-- When my daughter and I took my Grandson to Disney for his 3rd birthday one of the things he was the most impressed with was the bus. (his first trip!)

When we got home a few weeks later we asked him what his Favorite ride at Disneyworld was and----- to our surprise-- He said the BUS!!!!:sohappy: I think it also helped that we had a few great drivers. One let him sit in the DRIVER"S seat, we took his picture of course, and he gave him a Disney bus drivers license. Which he carried around with him-thus, it is a little worn for the love of it-- I will have to see if any of the drivers have a new one for him next time we go. We asked last time we went but no one had any. :(

Yes, he has the shirt, with the Disney bus on the front, one of his favorites!! and of course the bus' to play with. He has three of them Hot Wheels makes them and we usually get them at the Emporium or Mouseworks.

Thanks for the GOOOOOOD JOB!!!!!!! :D :sohappy: :D

I'm so glad to hear that. We actually get a lot of kids who love the busses. Often times, when I drop the folks off, if I have one of the new Nova's, I'll tilt the bus to lower it closer to the ground. The parents will have to wait before they can leave the area because the kids are fascinated, and want to see it come back up... lol

As for the licenses... they are hard to come by for us drivers. I myself am in need of more... I just ran out!

I never know where I will be until I'm in my bus, and the dispatcher tells me where to go. The ONLY thing I ever know is my start time, end time, and where my lunch will be.

However... with dates, I can tell you what hub I will be assigned out of, and from there, you can ask a Coordinator for me, and they'll tell you what bus I am driving, and approx when I will be due back into the hub. (Hub = MK, Epcot, DTD, etc)
