WDW 40th- What Will Be Included?

The new Celebration is Let the Memories Begin. It is not 40th specific so I wouldnt expect anything substantial for the 4oth at the first of the year as the focus for Merchandise will be on the new campaign.

Likely not see 40th specific merchandise until 5 or 6 motnhs into the year.

The 25th anniversary celebration was called Remember the Magic, so it's not unlikely that we could see a 40th celebration in the parks. We still have 11 months before any celebration would begin so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well wouldn't they just sell merchandise throughout the year to make guests aware anyways?

The 25th Celebration began on Oct 1, 1996. If they do a specific 40th celebration it would start on Oct 1, 2011. :shrug:

They already are selling 40th merchandise. There's a whole bunch of it at the World of Disney at Downtown Disney.

Plus don't forget the rumors of Monsters Inc and Soarin' Over the World which have also been said to open around this time.

That one is my favorite since it isn't a "rumor" but originally came from someone saying "wouldn't it be cool if..." and "Do you think they will ever..?"

Meh, regardless of its origin, it is still a rumor. A rumor that has been discussed quite substantially as well.
