Water parks being left out (What should be added to them)

Hey guys I was just as disney a few months ago and before that maybe two or three years. It seems that while disney is pushing there parks and downtown disney in a better direction. (Yes better than they were but more can still be done). But back to the point at hand it seems that the water parks are just being left with nothing to attract crowds.

I mean the last thing we got new in one of the water parks was Crush and Gusher and while its a great ride it would now be considered an older attraction being open now for seven years. Since then nothing new has opened in either of the parks. While i understand that the parks need attention first because the get the most visitors. I can remember days where the water parks had to close for several hours due to capacity.

To me I would love to see a water coaster added to Blizzard Beach with some sort of avalanche theme as another thrill ride to summit plummet.

So i ask what do you guys think of the state of the water parks and what do you think could be added to them to make them better.

Blizzard Beach needs more non-thrilling attractions like Typhoon Lagoon has. Maybe an area for penguins or something.

Typhoon Lagoon needs more thrilling rides, although TL is already one of Disney's most solid parks overall.

Spot on Scar. Blizzard Beach is good to go in terms of thrill rides. It could use perhaps some tube chutes that meander around since they have so many thrills. Still, I think BB already has more than enough slides to fill a day.

Typhoon Lagoon definitely could use another thrill ride. A ProSlide Tornado or Tantrum would be a good fit. Issue with those rides is that they are very visible and part of Typhoon Lagoon's charm is that it looks like a tropical island. I think they will put that above any sort of giant funnels unless they can hide them.

I'd say they're fine as is, considering they're semi seasonal operations and the main parks need the most attention at this point.

The water parks has something to attract crowds. It's called "Florida weather."

Although when you consider that Pleasure Island no longer exists and DisneyQuest is a dinosaur that they might want to add some more to the "water Parks Fun & More" option. I know they added the Oak Tree golf course as an option, but I'm of the "golf is a good walk spoiled" camp :D

About the only things that would get me out of the wave pool and lazy river in either water park would be some of the newer ProSlide options (which, as mentioned, could be difficult to hide), or (my biggest wish), bring some FlowRider action to Typhoon! They offer so many different options currently, and I'm sure they would be more than willing to work with Disney to make an even more attractive FlowRider option (higher capacity, better hiding of components through theme, etc).

There is at least one very odd and uncommon funnel configuration from ProSlide (I believe it is still considered a Tornado slide) that Disney could use in either park that could be hidden fairly easily and well enough. If you've been to the Sandusky, OH Kalahari, that is the oddball funnel I am talking about. It gives you a fun mix of the toilet bowl and funnel action with the possibility of more tube afterwards, so the slide could begin and end out of sight of the funnel.

I cannot, however, over-emphasize how much I would rejoice if Typhoon were to get a FlowRider! I spent way too much money at Kalahari just for the FlowRider when I worked at Cedar Point.

I love the water parks and I do wanna ride the Crush N' Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon but honestly I have not been to a Disney water park since 2002, the past 4 times i've been (2 in december and 2 in february) its been WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY too cold to go to a water park... I do think BB needs more relaxing rides and TL needs more thrill rides

As long is it isn't a SuperLoop. Water Country USA's new SuperLoop with trap door is horrendous. Many are catch phrasing it as "The authentic waterboarding experience."

I get where you're coming from.

However, is it not more fun that the two water parks should be different? One a thrill park, the other offering a laidback tropical atmosphere?

Incidentally, for the same reason of diversity I don't miss E-tickets in World Showcase or indoor darkrides in AK.
