Hi folks,

We were wondering if we can purchase portable fans that sprays water in the parks? I went to about 10 stores and couldn't find any...

Help please!

I've looked at Wal Mart, K-Marts, Dollat Stores and other places....and nothing!

Worst case scenario we buy them in the park at a higher rate.

I bought one a few years ago in MK, paid wayyyyy more than Walmart, but at the time (end of June) I would have sold my eye teeth for it!!! It was from one of the carts thru MK (where you buy light up ears, etc) and was worth its weight in gold! I STILL bring it with me

We still have some that we bought at Walmart quite a few years ago. We just got home this morning and they are available in all the parks. However, similar ones are available at just about all the stores just outside WDW on US 192 where we were staying for a fraction of the cost in the park. If you can, try Target, Walgreens, or Winn Dixie.

Be sure to take the batteries out when you store it and you'll have it for the next trip.

Not to be rude, but why don't people just get a regular sprayer? I doubt that the coolness from the fan is going to help for long given the humidity and heat down there. I used a regular mini spray bottle and it worked just fine.

Ask a CM when you first enter the park & they can tell you where you can find one. We bought one last summer for our kids & it cost around $10. They love playing with it. We brought along a few Dollar Store hand held fans, but they all were broken before the end of the trip. The Disney spray fan is much more durable.

From my experience, we paid ~$16 for the one in the parks. We bought it on day 1 for DD. It was the best $$$ spent. She played with the thing non-stop, it kept her cool, and it made it easier to get through some of the non-kid friendly attractions. She broke one of the fins off on day 3. The CM gave her a new one.

It may be a little expensive, but what you get in return is great.

If you are looking to buy one else where, I bought one at D i c k's Sporting Goods (filter removes the word). It was about $8. DD plays with it at home like crazy.
