The "water bridge" is a canal that connects Seven Seas Lagoon to Bay Lake, located directly south of the Contemporary. It's called the "water bridge" because instead of vehicles going over the water (like a normal bridge), the water is what is being "bridged". It's not too much to look at but it's a testament to how the original planners didn't want ugly roadways crowding the sightlines.
