Watching cruise line special...

I don't know about that. We visited Cancun on our first cruise, and I feel like one visit was plenty. Been to Cozumel three times now and I think I am done there as well. As far as that side of the Carribbean goes... I'd really like to visit Roatan again as well as Belize. We did an excursion to Xunantunich and stopped in San Ignacio for lunch after seeing the ruins. It was an awesome meal!!! I really enjoy Belize. :D
I'm talking about Cozumel. You're talking about Cancun.

We've been on four cruises since March 2011, with our fifth scheduled for this coming January.

March 2011 - 3 Night Dream - Caribbean
May 2012 - 4 Night Magic - Caribbean
September 2012 - 5 Night Magic - Canada
January 2013 - 4 Night Dream - Caribbean

I'd have to say we prefer the Magic over the Dream...smaller ship, feels a little more intimate. Plus for us, the biggest draw on the Magic was on the final night the cast of the various live shows takes part in the Meet and Greet. Getting pictures with Lady Tremaine and Franco was a definite highlight, but even more then the pictures it was great to talk to them as actors. I do theater myself, so getting to talk to the actor who played Anne Marie was so awesome. They'd had a weird glitch during the show with the lighting, so I was able to ask her what it was like to just roll with it and keep the show going. Such a pleasure. The Dream, on the other hand, doesn't have this. Imagine my disappointment not to be able to tell Dr. Greenaway how much he made my wife and I cry at his big moment. :( So the Magic will always feel like "our ship".

No, we're Delaware residents who are obsessed with all things Disney, and when we have vacation time + vacation money = Disney :) My wife and I actually met on the WDW College Program back in 2001...we were assigned to the same quick serve restaurant in Animal Kingdom. We've been to Disney World together 7 times since, but once we did our first cruise we were hooked. Thank goodness for cheap Southwest flights from Philadelphia!

2 of our 5 DCL sailings have been on the Magic. We also feel most at home on her. We just got off the Fantasy and both our boys have asked that any future cruises we stick to the classic ships. Even gamer teens find that special something on the Magic that can't be found on the new ships. ;)

We're really looking forward to the Fantasy...we're a childless (for now) couple, and the nighttime district on the Fantasy sounds a little more enticing to us then the one on the Dream. And we're really excited to do a full 7 nights.

What we'd really love is if they revisit the New York to Canada cruises sometime in the future. PleasePleasePlease let that happen.

We just returned form the 14 day Transatlantic on the Magic, our first time on the Magic, and I there is something special about that ship. It has a special feel, and is now my favorite of all the ships.

You have NO idea how jealous I am of you! The 14 day Transatlantic is on my bucket list for sure. What were the days like crossing the Atlantic...like, did the water seem different then it feels when you're cruising between islands on a regular cruise?

We were very lucky, the weather was perfect for 12 of the 14 days, so most of the time the seas were very calm and not much movement. I have never seen water that was such a deep blue before, or had a clearer view of the sunrise and sunset. It was an amazing experience.

When we booked the cruise, I was worried what we were going to do for 14 days, 10 of them at sea, would we get bored. Boy was I way off. There was always something to do, it was not 14 days of lounging around. I was most impressed that the offerings did not get repetitive. They had new and creative activities for all ages all the time. The cruise staff was fantastic. Of course, there were lazy times, but we chose to have those.

Also, the food was fantastic. They had a different menu, with a different theme every single night. I can't say enough about our servers. They were practically part of the family by the end of the cruise.

I hope you get a chance to do it, we are already talking about doing the transatlantic crossing westbound in 2014.

We have been on the Magic, Wonder, and Dream. Wonder was our first so it has a special place, but we have been on the Magic the most and really enjoy it. DD is asking for the Dream next time so that's what we are looking at for Spring Break next year. Our favorite port is Castaway Key. Our cruise bucket list definitely includes both the transatlantic and the Alaskan cruises.

So I've never been on the cruise and I'm watching the special I taped a while back. Wow! Looks even cooler than I thought. For those of you that have been, what is your fave boat or destination?
We have only been on the Dream and the Magic and love both. I think with the addition of the Aqua Dunk on the Magic it will become the favorite. Favorite destination is by far Castaway Cay. Love that place!
