Was the 1996-97 Pink Cake Castle partly inspired by Tim Burton's "Batman"?

hate...HATE....HATED the cakestle!!!

I do not see the resemblance though...maybe ever so slightly if you squint turn your head to the side and sneeze though.

I guess my hatred of the cake came from the fact that it occurred during our visit in '96 on our first anniversary and mostly because it was the first trip for my wife who kind of always envisioned seeing the castle in its' "natural" state and since it was a surreptitious trip that was not planned we knew nothing of the cakestle until we walked onto main street and there sat the pink nightmare...it was a huge letdown for her and I have loathed it from that day to this..

I hated the castle cake.

The only good thing about it, is when I would get off the teacups and thought I was going to get sick. I would run over to the castle lick it and feel much better.

I loved castle cake and wish I got to see it in person. I also thought what they did for Stitch was cool. I enjoy any theming they do that includes the castle
