I think it's a dud. It's been a full two days since it was posted.

The only good thing I've gotten out of Orlando Sentinel is bombs in neighborhoods and that darn'd SeaWorld leaking their ocean water into our water fountains.

I wonder if the ad revenues for the Tourism Blog at Sentinel has gone through the roof in the last 24-48 hours.... ;)

Well I'm not sure what they're waiting on. But a replacement for RRBC has been decided, and changes to quest are coming (no, it's not going away or becoming an ESPN Zone).

I agree with Lee and his "zzzzzzzz"'s -- it's always a lot of fun to get thousands of people riled up and create 8 pages of posts while doing it.

If it's anything, it's not going to be much more than we already know. This is like someone saying, "I have a secret that will affect you but I'm not telling you" and then not letting you know where you can find it out. Pfft.

NEVER too many MST3K references. :)

I don't know about AKL, but there is a Hidden Crow mask in The Yeti Museum at EE...(it's the mask marked "Crow" in the mask display)

Well you've gone this far, so what is the replacement for RRBC and whats happening to quest?

Quest should just be opened for free if their going to keep it.

Well I've done some digging:

Im gonna say its Lucky Strike Lanes replacing RRBC.

Click on Careers and you'll see a picture of what looks like an old Mickey Cartoon as well if you read the areas they are expanding too, one is Orlando, FL. Also, if you read about the lanes, it seems to be alot more than just a bowling alley.

From Screamscape:

(12/14/07) Fans of the Pleasure Island nightlife will want to take note of this latest rumor. According to Screamscape sources we’ve heard that there could be some fairly significant changes to Pleasure Island starting in 2008. In fact, as early as January we could see Disney begin the process of shutting down the various nightclubs one by one. I don’t know if this is just for remodeling, a total revamp of the PI concept, or something else entirely. I’m also not sure if the term “club” applied to just the drinking/dancing clubs or if this rumor also applies to the Adventurer’s Club or the Comedy Warehouse.
I know that in the last year or two Disney completed a new remodeling of Pleasure Island to allow foot traffic to better flow through it from the West End to the Marketplace side. This along with the admission changes were supposed to be just the first step of many for a complete overall remodel of the Pleasure Island concept. Back when that was all still just a rumor I had heard at the time that Disney was in talks with
Lucky Strike Lanes to convert the Beach Club into one of their high-end bowling clubs. I’ve got to wonder if that deal is still on the table or if it was just one of many that were in the works. Can anyone shed a little light on just what might be going on?

Screamscape also mentions that 8-Trax and Motions could be next on the chopping block.

^ See ya 8-trax, Motions. Disney can and will do much better with family entertainment options. Always have, always will. They have to add a real ESPNZone don't they?
