Also, it looks like Eastern Airlines is back in business, now with Toy story land coming to HS, can we get Buzz Lightyear's space ranger spin converted back to a modern "If you had wings" sponsored again by Eastern? Just a thought!
Squeeze out all that pus Lightyear and bring this back!

They could, but then that wouldn't really be Walt's plane would it? They have pictures of it in it's workable condition which in comparison with buying a different plane and making believe it is Walt's plane, at least they are pictures of the real thing. So maybe not a good plan. We get lied to enough in this country.

I like Walt's plane, too.
But I don't think that putting decals on a plane that was not Walt's original one, would ever be the same (for me, anyway).

It would be kinda cool if TDO opened a memorabilia themed dining venue in Disney Springs and GO BIG having this somehow maybe have the rear of it outside and have it going through a wall to the inside having the main part of the plane suspended over the dining room or something like that. Unless they can somehow use it as a cash grab I would not look for any nostalgia based funding from the current regime that does not generate revenue.
