Walt Disney World's Newest Park: Brainstorming for Ideas

I think a relatively reasonably feasible project would be a new water park. Disney's Blizzard Beach opened in 1995, and Universal's Volcano Bay opened in 2017.

Maybe a South Pacific theme, using Moana, though Volcano Bay's theming is also South Pacific. Maybe Lilo & Stitch as well (Hawaii).

A new, full theme park would probably cost over $1 billion, whereas a water park wouldn't cost nearly so much. Volcano Bay cost ~$600 million.

Fantastic Worlds/Epic Universe:
Okay so I guess this would be sort of a copy of the concept that Universal is using for their third gate in Orlando, but with the variety of properties that Disney now holds the rights to I think it'd be pretty interesting to explore the possibilities of having a park filled with immersive lands, maybe something related to Marvel, a 20th Century Fox property even(?), a Tim Burton property, Zootopia, Game Central from Wreck it Ralph(with like a sugar rush racers ride, heros duty shooter ride and maybe even a wreck it ralph drop tower or something like that), Monstropolis, endless possibilities here.

• Disney Realms: In an ideal world, Disney's Hollywood Studios would return to its roots as a studio park, while this park would be set aside for designing immersive worlds in the style of Galaxy's Edge or Wizarding World (note: the other parks would still have IPs, just not entire lands themed to a single IP). They'd be surrounded by a giant temple, which is the "gateway" to other dimensional realms.

I think something like these are most likely. Just take Epic Universe and plug in some of Disney’s edgier and more contemporary franchises, including those from 20th Century Studios. E.g.:

Disney’s [some synonym for “Epic”] Realms/Adventure/etc.

• Wreck-It Ralph maybe including all available non-Nintendo real-world video game characters used in the movies
• Planet of the Apes, Maze Runner and/or maybe one other dystopian franchise, if there are any others available to use, in one land
• Die Hard, Kingsmen, and/or one other action franchise together in one land
• Ice Age
• Some Tim Burton IPs together in one land
• At the center of the park, serving as the park’s icon, something emphasizing the multiple universes/dimensions represented by the franchises. Something like a monumental “portal exchange” tower, etc.

id like to see a disney ancient worlds style park that uses old historical fantasy stuff like castles and dragons, ancient greece/rome, egypt, stuff like that

You mean like Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

Although a Polynesian theme would be cool to explore. I would however I think the water park should be a original story instead of a Disney animated film like Moana since both Disney water parks are based off original concepts.

As an aside, I wonder if a fifth park will be accompanied by new hotels. I'd like to a see a new Value Resort Hotel: a Toy Story Hotel like the one at Shanghai Disney Resort. It has a striking design that's arguably a step-up from the All-Star resorts, the Pop Century Resort, and the Art of Animation Resort.

Maybe they could build the Lava Lagoon water park that Volcano Bay's designer proposed for the Paris resort when he was an Imagineer. It could use the tiki statue at the Polynesian as a mascot.

Wonder what they'd call it, so as not to repeat the use of "lagoon" in a WDW water park. Lava Lake?

Disney’s (or perhaps 20th Century) Colossal Quest?

* Ice Age land could cover more Blue Sky films.
* LOST could be one of the IP used, along with Armageddon, Apocalypto, etc.
* This reminds me a lot of my old Touchstone City/Realms idea.
* Maybe a token original land to please the people who want to see original content in the parks?
* Maybe a “Retro Disney” land that brings back beloved extinct attractions?
* The video game area could have stuff like Spectrobes.
* Getting the license to Power Rangers could work.
