Thanks. I hope you are correct. No I don't. Its just an educated guess.

Exactly. And, when I bought my Platinum AP, I also expected to be able to visit the water parks. There's no other reason to even have a Platinum level AP beyond access to the water parks.I mean... that is what we paid for. 365 day access and park hopping.
I think Disney should cut the prices or stop selling APs till they are full operation.
But then...I saw people saying they went and paid $1080 for them yesterday...which is like a gazelle laying down in front of the cheetah.
I needed 7 and bought the max of 8 the nanosecond they went on sale so after factoring the $700 I got for the single seat I sold on StubHub I paid -$250 for my wife and my tickets (the others family reimbursed me for)Lol only reason I'm signing up for the thing. Although I did fork over 450.00 on Bway
So maxpass thenJust to throw this out there. It just may be that you won't be able to make attraction reservations until the day you actually enter the park. Just a thought. It gives Disney some room to tinker and figure each day out.
I think you’re gonna be disappointed. I think the reason they’re cancelling advance reservations is because they won’t work.Do we think that the reservations for less than 60 days out from now will be done on a day by day basis based on your resort reservation date? So let’s say Disney opens up park reservations for 7/11 a week from now, even if you’re staying at disney 7/11-7/14 you’d have to wait until the next day to make your park and dining reservation for 7/12 or do we think it will be like the arrival day +10 or whatever it was for FPs and ADRs? I think the day by day would probably work better but am torn since we have a 12 night stay starting 7/12.
And unpaid version of it works best.So maxpass then
Except they’ve told us we will need a reservation to go to a certain park for a day.I think you’re gonna he disappointed. I think the reason they’re cancelling advance reservations is because they won’t work.
It almost has to be an in park or walk up scenario. The restaurants may not all reopen...and if they do, could be significantly limited. In other words: trained Disney travelers won’t get what they expect and it going to cause problems.
I think he means for rides and restaurants.Except they’ve told us we will need a reservation to go to a certain park for a day.
Yes...so they know the head count...that doesn’t really affect restaurants if limitedExcept they’ve told us we will need a reservation to go to a certain park for a day.
Well of course they won’t work. Why would you think anything different? If they have 100 reservations for a restaurant that now only has 30% capacity, what do you want them to do?I think you’re gonna he disappointed. I think the reason they’re cancelling advance reservations is because they won’t work.

Right but if they know the capacity of the restaurants they can still offer it if they wanted to.Yes...so they know the head count...that doesn’t really affect restaurants if limited
I understand. In my post I was talking about choosing parks.I think he means for rides and restaurants.
Then why blackout dates over summer for most AP?Over the last few years, the summer season has been a much slower part of the year at WDW than it used to be, so higher availability during that period isn't all that much of a surprise.
I personally have not noticed any decline in the summer. But logic would assume it’s been slower because silver and below is blocked out. Then why blackout dates over summer for most AP?
The passes blocked are Silver. Which are blocked anyway. Gold and above are not blocked out during the summer. Why do you think anything different? Then why blackout dates over summer for most AP?
