Everyone needs to temper their expectations. Staffing could play a major roll in availability of characters and experiences starting on the 18th.

If they have issues with staffing right now, wait till they open the floodgates. I hope guests show patience to Cast, but we all know that won’t happen.
Correct. The offerings on the 18th will be exactly the same as they are today.
Expect anything that is already set up for a line and is already operating as a distanced meet and greet essentially to be the “traditional meet and greets” that day. Think Mickey at TST, PFTH, Royal Somerhaus, the characters in the Imagination pavilion, Stars of Disney Junior, Red Carpet Dreams and Celebrity Spotlight.
Anything that is a sighting, will be still be a sighting, that’s not to say they don’t eventually change, but it will take awhile. And the staffing simply doesn’t exist currently to operate more of the high capacity meet and greets at the moment.

If they don’t bring back the bon voyage breakfast by my 60 plus days out, if I book the regular breakfast will the reservation stay the same if it’s back within those 60 plus days?

If they change, it's the whole restaurant. Would kind of expect them to announce a start to characters 60 days before the change though, unless there is a sudden influx of staff.

Normally would say it's an all or nothing thing. But back in the day at least, this was an unusual character breakfast in that part of the restaurant was a non-character a la carte breakfast. So no way to know really.

Most likely yes.
And in the weeks after April 18, things may ramp up in an orderly fashion.
I hope so. Really hoping for a “normal” Makahini breakfast for our first Aulani trip in July. I’d be happy with the bento box style Lu’au dinner, though. Just to watch the show seated and not worrying about the buffet.

Guests will receive a jab next to the new “15 minute wait remains” sign in each queue. Children under 5 can take an antigen test instead.
With those wait times I’ll be ready for my second dose when I reach the end of the que, with a likely breakdown I can get my booster at the exit

Why’s that?
Expectations. Long lines. Staffing.

People using Genie will expect a short wait time. Personal meets will take longer than selfies(common knowledge) and not enough Entertainment Cast have returned to really even cover what they are going to be running.

It will be interesting to see. I hope guests take it easy on attendants. It’s going to be a process.
