That’s about 5,000 more per day than the average a week ago. Those numbers are a fraction of the record 315,119 cases reported on Jan. 8 but similar to the number of cases during last summer’s peak." So it is a trend to be concerned about, agree that US could be in much better shape in a few months but right now it is disconcerting.
