Every Friday around 10am-11am they post the new hours for each new week.

Disney has extended park hours at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for the week of August 18, 2024.

Magic Kingdom
Aug. 19, 21, 24: 9am-11pm (previously 9am-10pm)
Aug. 20, 23: 8am-6pm (previously 9am-6pm)

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Aug. 18: 8am-7pm (previously 9am-6pm)
Aug. 19-24: 8am-6pm (previously 9am-6pm)

Disney's Hollywood Studios
Aug. 20, 22: 9am-10pm (previously 9am-9pm)
Aug. 23: 9am-9:30pm (previously 9am-9pm)

Was looking at hours for Sept 25th, Fantasmic! is at 9:30 with EEH 9-11. I really hope they at an 8 PM showing

On the rolling calendar, Magic Kingdom is defaulting to a 9 pm closing in October? I could have sworn it’s always been 10 pm?

I realize they will just extend to 10 pm or 11 pm but I don’t recall an opening time of 9 pm for MK.

Keeping operating hours to a narrower window would seem to be a tool deployed by the managers to keep down costs in the face of slower attendance

See below - Magic Kingdom moved to a default 10pm close on May 12. It shifts back to 9pm on September 30.

Probably because this past weekend was crazy busy. They are expecting the same crowd levels again because of the annual passholder magnets.
