Walt Disney World offers Florida Residents “Wild for 3-Day Pass” for $99

Walt Disney World says take that Disneyland. Where SoCal residents only get 2 days for $99, Floridians get 3. They can even add an affordable fourth day for just $30 more. For even more memory-making, Florida Residents can also add “Park Hopper” or the “Water Park Fun and More” option for $27.50 per ticket.

The offer starts today and tickets must be purchased by May 21st and used by May 24th of 2012. Blockout dates are Feb. 18, 2012 – February 20, 2012 and April 1, 2012 – April 13, 2012. This means that you will be able to experience the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival.

Proof of Florida residency required, the pass is nontransferable and excludes separately priced activities/events. To purchase or for more information: disneyworld.com/99 .

Why yes, it is indeed nice. Just the other day as I was putting away my hurricane preparedness kit, I thought to myself, “rsoxguy, you are one lucky chum”. I then checked on my supply of mosquito repellent and switched shirts for the second time in the day because of perspiration issues and thought to myself, “rsoxguy, you are one blessed chap”. Shortly thereafter, I changed the battery in my car after just a year and a half because the heat takes an unrelenting toll on car batteries in South Florida and I thought to myself, “rsoxguy, you are one fortunate lad”. Yes, John Q. Public, we Floridians are certainly living the life of Riley down here. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to check for alligators in my back yard before I can fire up some shrimp on the barbie.
Oh, by the way, does anyone know how the Dolphins did this season? I was too busy treating my fire ant bites to check the TV. Ah, Florida sports, I'll just check later. :)

I guess you have never experienced a blizzard and lost your heat and power for 3 days. Which you could not leave your house and not cook food or flush your toilet or run water to wash your hands. Just saying......

Ayup, I have. The "rsox" in rsoxguy hails from my Boston lineage. The one experience does not diminish the other. Freezing in a house without power, or baking in a house without power, its all fun.

And you have probably never experienced a power outage in the dead of summer for a week or so. Your house actually turns into an oven!=-O. No perrfect place, but at least we get Disney perks:wave:

The summers here in VA, mosquitos and all, are comparable to Florida yet we can can also Snowpocalypse like we did two years ago. A second floor condo (no yard to mow or gators out back) in the sunshine state sounds darn good to me. Plus the Magic, and Heat are pretty good teams.

The best solution is just for all of us to move onto Disney Property and if power goes out we can complain and ask for a reimbursement.

I LOVE your part of the Country. Condo commandos, however, turn me off to the whole flat lifestyle.

Florida may be considered the sunshine state but not because its such a pleasant place to live. I was born in Florida and have lived here all my life. I have seen the quality of life and the courteousness of people decline drastically. One of the main reasons I haven't left this state is because I'm close to WDW and I hope to work there one day, God willing. I also watch news from other states,and they too have problems of their own and natural catastrophies. I don't beleive there is a "perfect" state to live in. Yes, being a Florida resident and getting the Disney discounts, to me, is the ONLY perk.
