What were you doing up on the slopes? I ran down on the flat apron.

Always ran on the apron as well, but definitely won't miss that steep ramp entering the track.

Does anyone have an idea on how they will change the race course? It really won't be fun if they just have us run a loop through the new parking lot.

Nothing yet. And now that DHS construction is rumored to be fast-tracked we might have a change there as well.

Does anyone know how to know which kids races are full and which aren't? My 4-year-old is registered for his age group race (200 meters) because that's as much as we thought he could do. Well, yesterday he shocked us by running 2 miles. So I was looking into signing him up for the Mickey Mile on Saturday. The registration process seems like it would let me register, but then I noticed it also looks like it would me register for the Half Marathon, which I know is sold out. How does that work?

Update posted for the 10K but it looks like they just drew a solid line where the previous only had arrows. I didn't notice any changes.

I emailed RunDisney and asked them this. The reply was
"We are currently planning the race course for future events. Please know this will be communicated to runners roughly one month before the event itself."

Well it is good to know they are planning a race course, as long as it doesn't involve additional laps around the Wide World of Sports.

Due to all of the construction the marathon will be 13 laps around WWoS.

LOL! If this were true I'd be a no-show on race day, and instead just ride Pirates and Haunted Mansion all day and eat snacks at Sleepy Hollow.
