I just got the virtual 10K medal! For some reason they seem to be sending them individually. Now just waiting on the 5K.

Has there been any difference in medal/presentation of medal compared to the 2021 virtuals?

The medal box itself is laid out in the same way but the design is different. The front of the box has the characters running around in a circle with all the park icons laid out. In the middle along with typical Marathon weekend branding their is a 50th logo. The sides of the box also have their various characters running. The box itself is in that EARidescent color. It is a very nice presentation and box as they have always been.

I got my virtual 5K medal today! Very nice and substantial medal, this whole set looks really nice next to each other. Even though I only participated in the 5K, 10K, and Half virtually, medals look great in person.

It seems that registration for marathon weekend is happening in the middle of a vacation, which is quite a pain for me. Thankfully I'm only registering myself, but curious about the particulars. Is it 10am or so that these start going on sale? That's what the time currently seems from what I'm seeing on the W&D thread.
I don't have Club runDisney so I'd have to go through the normal process on 4/19.
I'm also wondering if using two different browsers on the same phone might work ok or if I should just stick to separate devices. On PC the different browsers seemed to keep their own spot in line.

I use 2 different browsers on my phone.
As soon as registration opens (around 9:45ish), I jump in the queue. I found this morning for W&D that also jumping in the queue with a different browser right at 10:00 AM got me to the registration page sooner.
Once registration "officially" opens at 10 AM, you'll see a countdown of the remaining time until you can get in to the page.
Go figure.

Just do the 5k. You can then do the Castaway Challenge. I've got my stateroom on hold until my TA gets back and I can use my placeholder. The January 9th cruise is nearly sold out, it appears.
