I am sure they use a crane to put theirs up as well and get the complaints...so what's different?
Well, they do use a crane, but they're able to do it all overnight and get the crane in and out in one night. Sure, it takes multiple nights for the full decor, but they're able to lower the crane and store it backstage entirely out of guest view

Is the main reason we haven't seen them installed the lights on Cinderella castle because of this as the major one complaint? The Crane..

I"m sure many families were complaining since it was there "one and only" trip just to have a BA Crane on the backdrop of the castle during their time there....Can't they even projection map the castle lights? Sure, it wouldn't be a spectical but, at least it was still there..

After going to WDW after my DL trip, I have to say that WDW’s lack of mobile order places is pretty annoying. Felt way more convenient at DL to order any food I wanted. Some of the food and wine lines were absurd, easily 30+ minutes. Thought I was in TDR.

I sincerely doubt you waited 30 minutes for a F&W booth. The lines can be long, but Disney does a fantastic job at getting through the line as quickly as possible. 10-15 minute can happen at times during busier periods, but a 30-minute wait is very rare.

You can't simulate LED lighting with projection mapping. TDO is too in love with projection mapping (🤮🤮) to ever bring back physical lighting on the castle.

Very nice!

They seem to bring their A+ game for the Christmas season. I wasn't impressed with the previous holiday. I don't like to say the name of the previous holiday once it's November 1st. But you know what it was. lol

Is there a list of what resorts have Gingerbread houses?
Perhaps! Off the top of my head:

Grand Floridian Gingerbread House
Contemporary Gingerbread Castle (with dream lights this year)
Beach Club Gingerbread Carousel
Yacht Club gingerbread Lighthouse (not returning?)
Boardwalk Gingerbread Boardwalk
Animal Kingdom Lodge Gingerbread Zebra and Giraffe
EPCOT Gingerbread Spaceship Earth (new)

I know that the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian displays are up. Haven’t seen the others yet (haven’t been out to the other resorts yet).

I find it so odd that the Poly doesn't participate. You would think all three stops on the monorail would have something to look at if you're doing a Holiday decorations crawl.

The Y&BC holiday pin this year has the gingerbread lighthouse. That would be an embarrassing oversight.

Not any more. They learned to use a retractable crane that gets hidden behind the castle during the day, and they work on it over night.
