Walt Disney World Camera Straps

Now that I have a DSLR, the next logical step is to get a WDW camera strap. I've seen an EPCOT Center one on eBay before, but I'm not sure what else is out there in the way of WDW camera straps. Anyone here have one? I've seen ones with Mickey on them, but those aren't uniquely Walt Disney World. Do WDW ones exist? If so, I'm wondering if I should wait for one to show up on eBay, or buy a Disney one that isn't WDW, or wait until I arrive and check DtD.

Do any stores at WDW currently sell WDW camera straps?

The only one I have found in my travels (and I have been looking for one) is the Mickey one. I bought it, but had to jury-rig it to work with my camera (it probably would work fine on your SLR, I had to work to get it to attack to my low-grade camcorder). Since that's all they sell at the various camera shops, I'm pretty sure that's the only one available.

Keep a look on ebay (yeah I know, not current) for the original oversized D WDW logo on a camera strap. We got one in 1990 but I searched high and low and can`t find it. Doh!

Failing that, as above, I`ve only seen the Mickey ones. I`d love a current WDW logo version.

Ha, you'd love a current logo, and I'd love the oversized D logo. Well, honestly, I'd take a current one, too. Looks like I'm going to set up a search on eBay to keep me apprised of listings as they're posted! I'd love to see a picture of yours, if you find it!

I have the Mickey one, however I really don't like it. It's too wide and the edges are very rough. It cuts into my skin and after a day of wearing it, I end up with red marks along the back and side of my neck. It's a 2" strap and I prefer a 1" strap. I've since gone back to the manufacturer's strap.

I haven't seen any others.

Well, since the original post here, I've amassed a nice little collection of Disney camera straps. However, I still haven't seen the Oversized "D" strap. Martin, did you ever find it? I'd love to see a picture.

Also, if anyone has an EPCOT Center Rainbow camera strap that they be interested in parting with, I'm definitely in the market for one.

Heck, if anyone has any Disney camera straps they're looking to sell, I might be interested. PM me... :wave:

I have two straps like that, one in red and this one in blue. I'm hoping the one you had was cooler than this, because I long for an old logo camera strap similar to the EPCOT one, with the logo printed on the strap itself.

Later today, I'll take pictures of all of my straps.
