Well, since every person going to Orlando is going to EU. People can begrudgingly add a day or two for WDW. And when they move from EU to WDW in the morning, they'll get a free water park day!!
Who says they are going to move resorts. If my vacation is mostly Universal I'm staying at a Universal resort and driving over to WDW for a day or 2.

Thinking of doing a quick trip with my youngest, probably just two nights and doing an after hours event and think this could be a good extra thing to do for our arrival day.

Looking at July and water park probably open until 8pm so even if we wind up not getting to the water park until 3 or 4pm still a few hours which is probably plenty of time.

Would just hang at the hotel or go to Disney Springs most likely anyway so a couple of house is just a bonus anyway

It's not something that would motivate doing a trip but something I could see us moving to a slightly earlier flight to take advantage of

Also doing a parents only trip for Destination D23 and hoping to do a short stay at Universal before hand to do a day at Epic, so could see taking advantage on this on our transfer day from Universal to Disney property

Anyone else think they might fly in a day earlier and stay offsite for a night to get this perk? Original plan was to fly in on a Saturday morning and not go to the park that day. New plan might be fly in Friday night. Stay at a cheap hotel near Disney World. Hit the water park around noon on "check in" day?

A hotel for an extra night costs more than the perk.
