Wow, so one thing I notice right away, it's missing what is a usual disclaimer of "When purchasing a package at full price."

Better than nothing but only good on check-in day seems like not many would use it anyways.

My off hand guess is that its because the water parks often get more empty as the day goes on, so this would enable them to have better utilization in the afternoon and justify staffing levels all day. Like it is a way to even out the water park attendance throughout the day.

Since I have the Pixie Dust pass and now usually arrive on Sundays, this is awesome. I can't be in the main theme parks anyway so this is a great alternative on arrival day.

Valid only on checkin day? Will that cause issues with Bell Services at hotels with more people arriving earlier in the day and looking to check their bags and head to the waterpark until their room is ready? Unless they were planning on bringing back luggage service straight from the airport and were ready for it anyway...

No reason to believe it doesn’t. DVC resorts are certainly included and there’s no requirement that you have a park ticket. If it were limited in some way, they would just include it with packages.

Finally, a bona fide perk for an on-site stay. Better get the first flight of the day, however! They usually close at 5 pm so this will largely be an afternoon perk. Nice way to wait for your room to become available, though.

I am wondering that as well and I don't see any disclaimer denying it so it seems likely that DVC stays would also be eligible.

Seems like they are open until 5pm in the winter but summer they can be open until as late as 8pm historically. So, something that is more likely to be taken advantage of in the warmer months which is not surprising for many reasons.

Those of us who do split stays could theoretically go for the day on switchover day. Unclear on if you’d have to check an at the new resort to get the ticket, and then go to the water park, however. That would be a hindrance.
