...never seen the original from that angle before!Sure, add the Walt AA.
But, again, I still say they need to take the final scene back to the 1960’s, in all its Walt-era mid-century modern glory…!

That being said, isn’t there enough room to recreate Horizons upstairs…?!

What is upstairs at the MK version? Anything? Or just facade? I’ve been in the lounge backstage but never heard of an upstairsSure, add the Walt AA.

What is they replaced the 40s with that 60s oneand then the last scene is the modern day/slight future
So do 1900s, 1920s, 1960s, 2020s - just to space things out a bit more vs giant jump.
Otherwise, probably best to keep it retro-future and not do anything modern day
Me neither...any evidence out there for its existence beyond being a glorified attic? Even if there is, it was certainly never anything like the upstairs when CoP was in Disneyland or the World's Fair. What is upstairs at the MK version? Anything? Or just facade? I personally would set the final scene specifically on December 31st 1999 and put in as many nods to 1999 as possible including elements from the Millennium Celebration. That way the show will literally last one century and have as much millennial nostalgia as possible.Wow could you imagine?
To be fair the entrance to Buzz was not really changed that drastically from when it was Dreamflight.Since they started replacing several of the 1994 components that previously replaced the 1971 original components with 1971 replicas I've been wondering if their new "story" is that the current 1971/1994 hodgepodge is now "the tomorrow that never was?" I liked the 1994 version. I loved the 1971 version (but it seemed few others did during that time lol). Either way, at the very least, here's hoping for a better entrance facade for Buzz....I NEVER got used to that!
yes...but...it was more subtle b/c it wasn't as cartoony plus the color scheme blended better (at least pre-1994 reno). Buzz's entrance, however, did become less obtrusive for me after they added Mike Zouski to Monsters' entrance and Stitch to his entrance...by the time there were 3 cartoony entrances to Tomorrowland attractions I was like "whatever" (nm that "stage") and felt like they threw people like me a bone by changing some parts back to 1971 designTo be fair the entrance to Buzz was not really changed that drastically from when it was Dreamflight.
I’ve never purchased LL in my life but wouldn’t even look at the price if they updated the end to include a speed ramp to the upper lounge that leaned into mid century retro futurism and let you sit in luxurious recliners while watching an accurate recreation of Horizons on an Apple Vision device.Sure, add the Walt AA.

@donaldtoo thank you for sorting something out for me....I always wondered exactly what preceded Progress City!I was being a bit silly, based on the fact that there were post-shows on an upper level of the attraction at both the ‘64-‘65 World’s Fair and the Disneyland versions - “Skydome Spectacular” and “Progress City”, respectively.
There is no (publicly) accessible upper level at MK.
Otherwise, probably best to keep it retro-future and not do anything modern day
