Its hard to believe they dont have a tour like the other studios....hard to believe they would not only pass up the $$ but the chance to promote upcoming shows, movies, parks, dvc, and the list goes on....not to mention the gift shop they could have!

Of course, the real reason they do not have a tour is capacity. The number of people they could accomodate is very small. Imagine showing up for a tour, and they were full-up for the day a half hour after it opened.

But, if you can go back in time about 25 years or so, they used to hold all of the shareholder meetings at or near the Disney studios every year. Why? Because shareholders were automatically given the option of a free tour of the studios after the meeting. I have a couple of old tickets I stumbled across somewhere.

Also, they do have a "studio shop" for the public located right across from the Chinese theater right by Hollywood and Highland. Not much of a shop, but it's kind of cool to just go in and look for 5 minutes.

Hey, me and my brother have the exact same Kitchen Kaboret cups at my Mom's house somewhere! We used to drink out of them as kids. We also have the figment figure too, he was made of rubber. We got them both in 1986.

That is one of sweetest set of pictures I've ever seen on this site.....so awesome!
