Discoveryland:

The fourth themed area of the park is Discoveryland. This area will be based on the stories and ideas of brilliant minds like Jules Verne, Leonardo da Vinci and H.G. Wells. The entrance will be very steampunk like. A long time ago a remote island became inhabited by great scientific minds, who worked together in peace to create the future that never was and will never be. The island was very complicated to inhabit at first however, because the island is filled with mountains and lagoons. A large volcano called Mount Prometheus is the highest point of the island. Next to the volcano lies the town of the vissionaries. The land will be build up similarly to Treasure Cove at Shanghai Disneyland. The overall style of the land will be steampunk and renaissance like.

First we will see the large lagoon of Discoveryland, every few minutes we see something emerging from under a waterfall near the town and moving in the water. This is nothing else, but the Nautilus itself. The Voyage of the Nautilus will be an underwater dark ride where guests follow Captain Nemo and his crew on an adventure where we encounter mermaids, giant squids,sunken cities and other great things. The ride will be similar to the 20,000 leagues under the sea at Tokyo DisneySea and the extinct rides which were found in Orlando and Anaheim. The entrance will be similar to the building for the walkthrough in Paris, but better themed and just a bit bigger. Near the entrance is Captain Nemo's Seaside Dinner, which will sell fish dishes from all the seven seas.

Then we move on to Mount Prometheus where you can find the entrance of the Journey to the Center of the Earth. This ride will bring you to the depths of the Earth, where you encounter great things. After some time Mount Prometheus starts shaking as the volcano is about to erupt. The entrance will look like an Icelandic building. Inside guests will find out about Lidenbrock's and Axel's investigation on the mysterious Icelandic saga by Snorri Sturluson. The ride will be similar to the Tokyo DisneySea ride, but it the ride's story will be closer to the original story by Jules Verne, rather than volcano monsters. This means that guests will see giant mushrooms, prehistoric creatures, large insects, mastodons and primeval humans.

Near the mountains is the Discoveryland Observatory. This will be the entrance to the From the Earth to the Moon and Back coaster. This attraction will be very similar to Disneyland Paris' Space Mountain Mission 2. This attraction will be based on the Jules Verne story and the movie, A Trip to the Moon. The ride vehicles will be similar to Space Mountain in Anaheim. In the ride you will be shot into space by a catapult. The ride will use a similar effect to the catapult in Paris. The ride will use projections, smoke, lights and real sets. You will even meet the moon from the movie, Trip to the Moon. In the queue guests will see the designs and stories of Jules Verne. Next to this will be the Astronomers' Club. This will look like a futuristic building. On the inside it looks more Greek/Italian like. You will see statues, artifacts and images related to astronomists as Galileo. A big dome in the middle of the reataurant will be the window into space where you see stars, planets and other galactic presences.

Then we move on to the Discoveryland air field. The Hangar will be a quick service restaurant inside an air base hangar. Different fly machines by designs from Leonardo da Vinci to Swedenborg. Guests can enjoy American, Italian and Scandinavian dishes. Near the restaurant will be doctor McDaelius' air base. Inside will be the station and queue of The Flight Gadget. Inside you will see designs from various fly machines from the past. Then you will be introduced to McDaelius and his inventions. We will be asked to test his newest fly machine. This ride will be a dive coaster themed to the fly machine below. Hyperion will be a shop selling Discoveryland items. The shop will be themed to Ian Cameron's The Island at the Top of the World. The Hyperion airship will be similarly build up to the Hyperion Arcade in Paris.

Next guests will find a large square where you can find shops as the Lumiere Stationary, the Factory and a restaurant called the Vulcania restaurant, a table service inside a cave like experience. Also from time to time inventors and scientists come to the Discoveryland Expo where they show off inventions as jetpacks, robots and other contraptions. Then there will be a mysterious Victorian steampunk building. Inside will be a dark ride themed to Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. In the ride you will board an omnimover vehicle similar to the Haunted Mansion vehicles and follow Phileas Fogg and his compagnion, Passepartout on a journey around the world. The ride will use advanced audio animatronics. Guests will pass by scenes in the following countries, England, Egypt, India, Hong Kong, Japan and the United States. Guests will experience all the things that happened in the classic story. Near the attraction is the Traveller's Collection, a shop where you can buy items from all around the world.

In the same Victorian like area is another attraction called The Time Machine which is based on the story by H.G. Wells. The ride will be a thrill dark ride where you follow the Time Traveller through time. The ride vehicle will be similar to the Time Machine below. In the ride you will encounter ape like creatures that live deep underground, large insects and other curious creatures. The whole adventure will act like a sequel to the original story, where the Time Traveller has received a message by Eloi to save them from the dangers of their time. Near this attraction will be the Discoveryland Train Station which will be similar to a glass arcade from the Victorian time. Steam comes from different sides of the building.

A bit further in town is the Alpha and Omega Rails Restaurant. In this restaurant guests will be led to their tables and find themselves around a pillar surrounded by rails. Guests will find screens installed into the tables where they can order their drinks and meals. After some time either port Alpha or port Omega opens to release your order on a steel rail coaster towards your table. The food or drink will twist,turn, loop and race before it reaches its goal. The restaurant will be a great experience for the whole family. Images of some famous inventors, writers and other visionaries. In the same area will be The Hall of Visionaries. It will be both a museum and an audio animatronic show similar to Hall of Presidents and The American Adventure. In the show guests will be taught about famous visionaries, their ideas, their stories, their inventions and more. Great minds like Jules Verne, Edison, Professor Marvel and Archimedes will appear right in front of your eyes.

Then we move on to a square with buildings in Italian Renaissance buildings. Here you can find Da Vinci's Workshop of Wonders. In this ride you will enter Leonardo da Vinci's workshop. Different works and designs of this creative mind can be seen in the queue. In the pre-show guests will meet this great Discoveryland inventor. Then guests will go on an adventure through Leonardo Da Vinci's mysterious workshop aboard handcraft Wonder vehicles. All his inventions will come to life and its your task to explore all of them and in the end stop them. Also on the square is the Sapori d'Italia restaurant where you can enjoy great Italian dishes surrounded by beautiful decor. Also Da Vinci's Wonder Shop will be present where you can buy figures and handcrafted items. It is located at the exit of the attraction.

Tomorrowland:

Tomorrowland will be the last themed area of Walt Disneyland Park. The area can be found on the south east side of the park. Tomorrowland celebrates the world of the future. Here is where guests can find a futuristic civilization which lives in harmony with extraterrestrial creatures. Also new technology will be celebrated here. Tomorrowland will tell the story of the future. The humans found a great resource deep inside a mysterious temple. This resource, which they later called Luna Stone, had great energy in it. People found a way to build up a civilization with energy coming from this resource, which was a glowing stone like element. They even used it to travel into space more efficiently. Here they found new planets on which extraterrestrial life was found. The humans decided to leave Earth and build up a better World. Years passed by and generations began to forget about Earth. Then we pass into the story of Wall-E who returns the humans to Earth. The humans again started to build up a civilization in harmony with outerspace inhabitants. This tomorrowland will be similar to the Sci-Fi City concept for Tokyo, Shanghai Disneyland Tomorrowland and the Tomorrowland 2055 design for Disneyland. The humans and aliens discovered Luna Stone again and used it for transportation, investigation, entertainment and education.

Guests will enter this land by a very futuristic paths with lights installed in it. A logo of Tomorrowland and a slogan saying Welcome to the land of the great big beautiful Tomorrow. The entrance will be similar to a cove. People will pass under the gate which has tracks on top of it. The tracks will be part of the Tomorrowland Transport Way. This will be a fast transportation tour ride which would drive on Luna Stone. This ride will give guests a small and speedy tour of the Tomorrowland area, while going inside buildings and passing by all the great sights. On the right side of the entrance will be the Cosmic Ray Club, which will be a really cool table service restaurant which is hosted by aliens. It will be a sort of night club with an audio animatronic show with Club acts by aliens. Some of the acts will be inspired by the unbuilt Plectu's Intergalactic Revue. Guests will also be able to enjoy great food and curious drinks. On the opposite side is the Tomorrowland Stop, which will be a shop selling great Tomorrowland items. Next to this will be the Techno Thought Restaurant, which will be a restaurant where guests will be led to their tables. Here they will find screens on which they can order their meals. After some time the food will appear from a box that rises from out the middle of the table. This will be lift connected to the underground kitchen. After guests have finished they put their plates back into the box and it will be send back to the kitchen.

Then we will get to a corner which will have the entrance of a dark ride based on the film 'WALL-E'. The ride will be called Wall-E's Extraordinar-E Adventure. The underlying themes of the ride are transformstion, optimism and cooperation. This attraction will be a sequel to the story of the film and will blend in with the story of Tomorrowland. Guests would bear witness as mankind and their technology transform the Earth from a desperate state to a world of beauty and harmony. The world is being restored and throughout the ride you will see Wall-E, Eve and their friends. In the finale scene you will enjoy Wall-E and Eve finding joy in this new restored world. The ride system will be an omnimover system similar to the Nemo ride at Epcot and Journey into Imagination at Epcot. At the exit of the ride will be the Robot Parts Storage, which will be a shop where you can buy Wall-E and other robotic souvenirs.

On the opposite side is the Utopia Port, which is like an American roadside dinner similar to V8 and Johny Rockett's, but themed to a futuristic space port where Tomorrowland inhabitants park and refill their space engines. Then you will find a small walkway to the back. Trees and fountains lead the way to New Horizons. The building will be similar to the original Epcot Center building, but more futuristic and blending in with the Tomorrowland style.You will now pass by scenes based on the future that never was and about possible futures. In the first few scenes we pass by futuristic ideas by vissionaries like Jules Verne and H.G. Wells. For example their ideas about going outerspace. Then we will pass by both original as new scenes like scenes about the futuristic image of now. I'd like to add some scenes that are based on the endings from the former Spaceship Earth ride. For example a green city. Also I'd like to add new scenes based on civilizations in Arctic and even undergound conditions. Some scenes from the original ride will be based on Sea Castle, Mesa Verde and others. Guests again get to choose their own ending. A new instrumental version of the New Horizons song will play around and throughout the attraction. At the exit will be a small exhibit where you can explore some of the present research done for today's creation of tomorrow.

Then we get to a rocky valley like area in the most south eastern part of Tomorrowland, where there will be two great e-ticket rides. The first one will be Intergalactic Fighters: Battle for the Galaxy. Guests enter an ancient Alien temple, which honours the light gods, which are believed to have created the universe. This is where the humans found the Luna Stone resource. Now we find out that an evil alien civilization is on their way to steal the Luna Stone and take over Earth. Guests will board special futuristic vehicles which have EMV features. In the ride they will shoot the evil aliens ( which aren't scary, because its a family ride, but it wont be a cuddly alien either). Think of it as Men in Black, but different vehicles, diffferent sets and different characters. You will be asked to save Tomorrowland. The other attraction will be Mission to Stellar Peak. This will be a mix between Radiator Springs Racers, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and a KUKA arm ride. Guests will investigate Tomorrowland Valley and find out that a U.F.O. has landed on Stellar Peak. Guests will enter the U.F.O. and find out that an Alien has abducted Tomorrowland inhabitants. They will race through the valley to escape the Alien together with the abducted inhabitants, while the Tomorrowland Investigation Team deals with the Alien.

Then we move back to the center square of Tomorrowland. Small ponds and green energy trees surround the square. In the middle is Hovercrafts, a family spinner where guests board futuristic hover vehicles and fly around the Tomorrowland area. The vehicle will be able to move up and down and will even light up at times. Especially at night Tomorrowland will be beautifully lit. Then we move to the back of the area where you can find a large dome like building. Inside will be Space Voyage, which will act like the Space Mountain of the park. In this ride you will board a rocket themed rollercoaster vehicle which goes on Luna Stone and race through the galaxy. Space Voyage will be themed to an outerspace travel station, but asteroid rain and giant planets make this trip a bumpy ride through space. The ride will be similar to Space Mountain in Tokyo, Anaheim and Paris, but will feel entirely original. Also the ride will use great visual effects and live sets. At the exit of the ride is the Outerspace Curiosities, where you can buy Tomorrowland items based on space. Also near this attraction will be the Moonliner Goods, a quick service selling great food. The quick service will be themed to the TWA Moonliner from the original Disneyland attraction, Rocket to the Moon.

Next is the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant, a quick service inside a futuristic building which overlooks the central square of Tomorrowland. The restaurant will serve American dishes. Then another building in a very futuristic shape is home to Tron: Clu's Revenge. Tron will fit the story by Tomorrowland's option of virtual reality in which you will be send into the games. The ride will be a mix of Tron Lightcycle Power Run in Shanghai and Test Track in Orlando. In the queue guests will be explained about the abilities of travelling into virtual worlds. Then they enter an elevator in which guests are scanned into the virtual world. The inside portion of the queue will be very lighted and technical to make it seem virtual. Guests then board powercycles and race through the Grid. They find out that Clu is back and is trying to take over the Grid. You will have to race against the enemies and escape the Grid safely. The ride will use screens, projections and audio animatronics. There will be an outdoor portion similar to the Shanghai Tron ride. At the end of the ride is ElecTronica, a shop for Tron items.

The last area will be a bit jungle like and will be close to Discoveryland. This is where you will find Carnivora, a thrilling dark ride where you enter a laboratory which investigates plantlife. They started testing on the plantlife by adding certain substances to see the reaction. This time guests will board tour vehicles which have similarities to EMV and KUKA arm vehicles and tour the investigation center. They will then discover that a substance has been added to the plants which made them agressive carnivorous plants. Guests have to find a way to escape the laboratory and the evil plants looking for a meal. The ride will be similar to the one in the video below, but less blood, more audio animatronic scenes and a different ride system.

Just out of curiosity, how would Mission to Stellar Peak be a mix of RSR , Big Thunder Mountain, and KUKA elements all in one? How would it work?

The tracks would be similar to Radiator Springs Racers. The complete overall race through the mountains would be similar to what we know from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The vehicles will be similar to the Radiator Springs Racers and these vehicles will be able to be raised and move as if they almost crash in turns or are raised by some kind of Alien levitation. Its really difficult to explain, but it would be very next gen.

Buzz & Stitch do fit since Buzz is a Space Ranger, and Stitch is a alien since in the m&g you put Aliens that fits Stitch really well.

but it has no links with the future theme. Buzz is a toy and Stitch lives in a modern world and not in a futuristic version of Earth.

As we're getting closer to the opening of Shanghai Disneyland, you could expect some edits to rides like Peter Pan's Flight to Adventureland. Also small edits have been made to Walt Disney Avenue, but these wil happen from time to time in any post if something pops up in my mind.

Worlds of Disney Parade:
​

Walt Disneyland Park will have a great parade similar in style to parades like Festival of Fantasy, Happiness is Here and more. The parade will be quite long and will be a celebration of characters, music, dance, colour, joy and the worlds of Disney. The parade will start in Adventureland and then goes all the way through Frontierland, Fantasyland and a part of Discoveryland to Walt Disney Avenue. This will be the longest parade route made by a Disney parade. The name will be based on the different locations in Disney movies( similarly represented inside the Sorcerer's Castle) like Arendelle, Pridelands, Neverland and Atlantica. There will be twelve themed floats. The songs will be classic Disney songs with modern twists similar to the Paint the Night, Festival of Fantasy, Happiness is Here and others soundtracks.

The opening unit will be the Magic Users Float. Here characters like Yen Sid, Fairy Godmother, Merlin and the Blue Fairy will greet guests. It will be a beautiful castle surrounded by storybooks. Enchanted brooms will lead the way.

The next unit will be the Little Mermaid float. It will be similar to the float above and will represent Ariel's undersea world. Colourful fish and coral costumes are worn by the dancers. Sebastian( AA) will lead the fish in an undersea calypso. Behind the main float will be a smaller float of Ursula and her cauldron. This float will be similar to Disneyland's Parade of Dreams float, but with new effects. Jetsam and Flotsam will be puppets similar to the Finding Nemo musical characters.

Then a Pridelands float passes by which represents the world of Simba, Pumbaa and Timon from the Lion King. Pride Rock with Simba and Nala on top will be the icon of the float. African dancers dressed like animals will swing to the music from the all time Disney Classic. Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki and Zazu can also be found on the float waving and smiling at guests.

Following is the cold world of Arendelle based on the kingdom from the famous Animated Movie, Frozen. Leading the unit is Sven and Kristoff in a sled surrounded by ice workers. The float will be a beautiful frozen mountain with Elsa's Ice Palace on it. Elsa and Anna stand on a balcony, while Olaf( AA) waves and sings at the bottom of the float. On the back of the float is an audio animatronic of Marshmallow.

Next is the world of Agrabah. This unit will bring the world of Aladdin to life in a celebration of music, dance and characters. The float will be Abu in elephant-form. The dancers will be themed to the characters from the Prince Ali song scene in the movie. The Genie will be dancing with fellow Agrabah inhabitants.

The next unit will be the Pocahontas unit. This will be a great float with dancers themed to British colonizers and Native Americans. Governor Ratcliffe will join the dancers. The float will be themed to a forest. The main focus of the float will be Grandmother Willow, whose branches swing in the wind. Pocahontas, John Smith and their animal friends will be seen on the float.

- The Virginia Company/ Mine Mine Mine

Then the Hercules unit will pass by which represents the world of Ancient Greece and Olympus. Greek champions will be seen dancing with Greek godesses. The float will be themed to Olympus with various temples. Inside one of the temples are the Muses who sing some of the songs of the unit. Phil( AA) stands on a pillar while waving at guests. Meg and Hercules fly on an audio animatronic Pegasus while an audio animatronic Zeus which is similar to King Triton from Paint the Night watches over them.

The following unit will be the Valentine Gardens. This beautiful rose garden with animal friends will be a resting place for lovely Disney couples. Snow White and her prince, Aurora and Philip, Cinderella and Charming, Belle and Adam, Flynn and Rapunzel, Lady and the Tramp and Tiana and Naveen.

Next is the Lilo and Stitch float. We will explore a Polynesian themed float with torches and tikis. Lilo and Stitch will wear Polynesian clothes. They will be surrounded by Polynesian dancers. Tikis will start to sing from time to time. Jumba and Pleakley will also be seen in the unit.

The last float will be the Mickey and Friends float. This float will have Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy, Chip and Dale waving guests goodbye with merry tunes. The float will be themed to Casey Junior adorned with beautiful colours. The smoke will be coloured in pink, blue, yellow etc. Casey Junior's face will move too.

Disney's Pageant of Fantasy:

The daytime castle show will be Disney's Pageant of Fantasy. It will be in front of the castle towards the Hub and the small body of water. The show will be a great celebration of Fantasyland. Mickey and his friends will celebrate the children's dreams and all the magical stories and characters of Fantasyland. During the show guests will enjoy dance, singing and special effects while travelling into stories like Pinocchio, Tangled, Peter Pan and Brave. Then villains will visit the party uninvited and will try to steal the fantasy to create an overwhelming nightmare. There will be a great battle between good and evil. Guests will be asked to interact with the characters to save Fantasyland. Can you help Mickey and his friends to defeat the evil forces that threaten Fantasyland? The show will use the fountains for the Sorcerer's Apprentice part, smoke, fireworks, audio animatronic puppets and audio animatronic character costumes. Dancers dressed as pirates, pub thugs, Parisians, furniture and so much more.
