Wasn't that where Bernie the dolphin was housed? I really enjoyed the movie about Winter the dolphin in Clearwater Florida. Did you know that dophins can hunt while they're sleeping with one eye closed. Well, Hawaii dolphins can anyway.
I don't know about good ole Bernie. The stadium was right next to the ocean and the show was not that long of an event. I don't think they had a lot of marine animals at that time, maybe a few dolphins?
LOL, that's funny about sleeping dolphins, and the Hawaii ones are really special arent they?? 😁

Disney could fix the Yeti at AK, not easy, but they could.

Disney could fix the peoplemover at Disneyland, not easy, but they could.

Disney just doesn't want to.

Fixes like these will only enhance the guest experience.

Disney determined it's not worth it.

It wouldn't be difficult at all. IIRC, a lighter and stronger Yeti was designed and could have been built, but Bob decided 15 years ago this ride wasn't worth it.

Precisely. But we know how Iger feels about Everest.

Maybe eventually his replacement will overlay the ride with some popular animated film, and we'll at least be able to stop complaining about it. Lol
Oh BOY, that's it!

Overlay it with an IP kills two birds with one stone - Jams another IP in the parks and gets rid of the Yeti problem!!

Sorry, I'm not really a dolphin expert. That's just what I read about the particular dolphins being tormented in Hawaii. The police were waiting on the shore when they were being harrassed there in the water. On a side note, dolphin experience at Discovery Cove was a whole lot of fun. They are truly very beautiful and wonderful creatures!

I go to SeaWorld sometimes because I'm very happy with the 40,000 injured and orphaned animales they've helped for over 50 years. I think they should advertise that more, but I'm not their pr person.
Totally agree! Part of SeaWorld’s mission is to save animals! I agree they don’t advertise that enough and all folks think about the hit piece Blackfish.

With how good the insiders are on this board (and across the web), I'm calling major BS on anything Disney is trying to act they have up their sleeves'. Rumors are always leaked on what they are working on, and there has been nothing hinted at for years? (I can't even think of the last rumor that was spreading around - besides the garbage blue sky at D23 that was totally baseless).

When insiders were surprised by Disneyland Forward, that told me everything I needed to know. Disney PR is very good.

If things were actually in the works for $17B, we would be hearing rumors left and right.

A lot of insiders have left, and a lot of their sources have left TWDC.

Not saying anything is coming. But the well for information isn't what it was.

Insiders here have indicated that the "blue sky" they presented at D23 (DAK and MK) are both very real ideas in development but perhaps not greenlight. also, insiders here have indicated that WDI is very active in terms of developing new/large stuff for the parks even though specifics are hard to come by.

So, yes, I would be included to believe that at least some of the $17B is real and planned to be spent to develop new "stuff" at WDW in the relatively near future (say 3-5 year horizon).
