Walls down around the New Fantasyland DVC kiosk

Geez, I'm a pretty optimistic person about Disney, but this is a major disappointment in terms of use of space. Whatever happened to the idea of a shop ("Triton's Treasures") in that area?

Also, what is up with the empty doorways? In the smaller section between the fruit stand and the main DVC entrance, there are two doorways that look empty -- is there anything inside there other than leading over to the DVC kiosk space? Are they going to put something there -- maybe a MyMagic+ station or something?

If there was a competition for who could build the most amazing facades with nothing worthwhile inside, Disney would win by a mile. But, I guess this is fine as the choices were DVC or generic merchandise that was out of place. Why Disney isn't selling $25 dinglehoppers here, though, is beyond me...

Really? All the sarcasm for construction walls coming down? Dvc is probably the first to open because it is the simplest to complete. If nothing else opens in the area then forgive me.

the walls coming down, little by little, is a good thing.

I might as well pile on. It's pretty disheartening to see such a beautiful space wasted on something so mundane. There will be lots of children asking, ....'What's in there'? , only to be told, 'Nothing'..... :-(

I suppose DVD memberships move faster.
Takes a lot of single hopper sales to make up for one DVC sale. They need one in new Fantasyland. This is their latest and greatest, what better place to sell in? "Look at the beauty and craftsmanship here. We will do the same at our new Polynesian DVC Villas."

Doesn't mean I like it but it is a necessary evil. I concur that a themed DVC sales booth is better than an eyesore.
