Hi all! I don't think I'm able to put up the link to the specific Twitter account, but __________ just reported -- the walls at the Fantasyland Station are down, looking right into Storybook Circus! We can now see the Barnstormer queue, with AWESOME details and props explaining the story, and more! If someone is in MK today, PLEASE post pics here!

what are the train tracks for in pics 11 and 12? they look like narrow guage like the railroad. did they move the wdw railroad further back and these were for the original line?

I believe they have exceeded my expectations. Just looks great especially compared to what was there. Now we just need to see through those doors. It may just be something as simple as the entrance queue but hopefully the decor is on par with everything else we are seeing.

I find it encouraging that it is not cartoony at all. This seems to be done to further the transition that the MSUSA train station serves of drawing you in from the world of reality and into an Imagineered one. Perfect and very old school Magic Kingdom IMO.

Applause :sohappy:

I think it might be for the casey junior area to make it seem like the circus train just pulled in off the line

I see that there are wheelchairs at the Train Station...something tells me this is opening up sooner than March 31st. It looks like it's ready for guests today.

I would expect soft openings to happen next week. (Albeit probably just the Barnstormer and the Train Station)

Someone in one of the other threads posted a rumor that there would be soft openings on Monday, and there have also been a few posts on Twitter about rumors of soft openings soon, so I am thinking it's going to be likely. They might even open the area to walk around in before any of the attractions are ready to open.

The odd thing about the faux tracks is that they end just beyond the fences, and due to the landscaping it doesn't appear that they are going to continue them. Thematically that seems strange to me, I though they would run them all the way out to the real tracks to make it look like they are actually part of that railroad.

Can I say how much I love all the little theme parts of Barnstormer? The side show / stunt stuff, like the cannon with the goofy shaped target, knife throwing board, and mostly of all, the rocket/bomb with the saddle on it a-la Slim Pickins? If the rest of the circus is like this, this area is going to be great...

Yeah Im really impressed with what I see! I love that Fantasyland now has a train station all its own ( granted they had the toontown one before but that was super cheap looking ) and I have to agree with someone else who said that the area isn't super cartoony. To me its old school, classy circus and Im really loving all the trees and foliage. Its MUCH better than I expected.

Just as a side note, Im really excited about Cars Land and DCA in general. I've never been to Disneyland and what they have done over at DCA is really pushing me to book a trip there. Just got to get the money together and Im going! :p
