So no Star Wars fireworks. It's cool they're doing a holiday show. But as a huge Star Wars nut, I've been so looking forward to the Galactic Spectacular. I don't know how to feel.

I feel extremely disappointed. Extremely. I was so looking forward to this and the dessert party
We're going to MVMCP, I mean yes my kid loves Christmas, but he is also a Star Wars fanatic, one park having a night time Star Wars show wouldn't have hurt the holiday flair. Oh well, now just waiting for Disney to officially announce and hopefully has a dessert party for this one.

I mean, it does sound kind of cool. And I love Prep & Landing, so it's cool to see them get some love. And it's nice HS will have something for the holidays this year. I can't tell you how bummed I was that our Christmas trip had to be this year when last year was the last of the Osborne lights. But I also hope I get to see the SW fireworks someday. I love Star Wars and I know I'll love the Galactic Spectacular!
Do you think you'll go to the dessert party? I'm torn.

Yes, I'll definitely do the dessert party. It sounds neat, and I want to guarantee that my kiddo has a good viewing spot. Won't have any Darth Vader cupcakes that he was looking forward to..but the 3D glasses sound cool, and hopefully will have some nightmare before Christmas themed desserts.

I'm seeing the SW show on 11/2 (assuming it doesn't get rained out like the first time I tried to watch it) but when you get down to it, the Christmas show is just different projections with fireworks.
...an no light sabers...lol.
Lesson learned, do NOT tell your children that they will see something.. Not until it is officially announced.

Very disappointed I'll be missing both the Star Wars and Holiday show as I'm there the first week of November. Not to mention Rivers of Light likely not showing up till later in the month and it's clear I drew the short straw this year.
