Wait...People dislike Rivers of Light?!

I loved Rivers of Light. My daughter doesn't enjoy loud noises so a fireworks show just doesn't do it for her. This show is visually stunning and the music is awesome. I think the message of the show is clear and it does have a story. We have seen the show twice and I would see it again.

I appreciate the thoughts shared by everyone on the thread, pro and con. I was adamant that my family would see it during our trip in July but I'm ok with missing it now.

Rivers is to Illuminations what the Tree of Life Awakenings is to Happily Ever After. Very different in scale. If you expect one of those two blockbusters, both DAK nighttime shows fall short. Otherwise, they are neat. Gentle, very Disney. A Disney for once that is not cynical, who'd have thought. I forgive Rivers all its shortcomings simply by virtue of it being sweet and gentle.

Also, as mentioned above, nightime DAK is terrific. A very different park. So while there...
