There fanatic, and then there's Frozenatic.....

Indeed.

I feel sorry for any family with kids that are crazed with this movie right now, particularly if the parents think they can just walk into the MK and wing it. That's an expensive wait in line for a one-minute meet and greet. Add to that the wait times for 7DMT right now, and I wonder if some people are spending half (or more) of their day at MK waiting in those two lines.

Honestly, it makes me glad that all of this will be behind us when we have kids that are old enough that we'll want to take them to WDW... of course, by then it'll be some other big craze that we'll get caught up in, I'm sure.

The longest I've waited in standby was 1 hour and that was for a new ride that didn't have FP+ yet and I was going to be in the park all night long, any way. But this craze that is Frozen? No way - so glad my daughter is grown and could care less....

I think the longest I've waited for anything is 30min... So many ways to avoid that insanity (not least of which is having 2DS's who couldn't care less about character M+G (*phew!*)

I have a friend who just returned from WDW and said the wait was well over 5 hours for the Frozen M&G. They had a FP, luckily. I was telling my mom about it and she said "You have awful parents because there is no way we would have wasted 5 hours in a line for anything, no matter how much screaming and crying you did". Props to those who actually wait in the lines but I can't imagine spending half my day in line for a 2 minute meet and greet and a photo.

So true girl, you just wait!:p

I am fortunate that although my little girlie loves Frozen she won't want to wait in a line for long. If I can't snag a FP+ for it then we definitely won't be doing it. Maybe we will forgo the choice altogether since it looks like the FP line can be long too. Sigh. Decisions, decisions

Another thing I just realized about why they haven't added more "friends" yet- someone on another thread mentioned that they can't train them the regular way due to the massive popularity. Normally, the characters show up at the Epcot International Gateway or another spot. However, Anna and Elsa would quickly become mobbed if they did that.
