Well... with all these SUPER BEAUTIFUL AMAZING WONDERFUL entries... how's a boi supposed to choose just one?!?!

So, this is what I did... I downloaded the big version of my favorites... and made them my wallpaper... to see how I liked them. And this is how I made my vote.

They were all great... but I personally narrowed it down to:

BSikor, Myself (of course!), Main Street USA, Grizzly Hall, Christopher, and Now Inc.

So I put them all up... and then tried to arrange my desktop around it. I loved Now's and Grizzly's and Main Street's and especially mine... hehe... but some were a bit too busy for my eyes, and on some, there was no real good place to put my icons... so now I'm down to BSikor, and Christopher. I loved Christopher's... but I ended up voting for BSikor, because it's very simple, not too busy, very nice, and cute too.

That is why mine are usually always dark b/c i find light backgrounds are sometimes a little harsh on the eyes.

UGH..600 bucks...for imaging software is a bit steep for me right now..any one know of a quality program (windows) I can get at like best buy..that wont set me back 6 bills...any help would be appreciated.

actually there is a free program called GIMP you can find it at www.techtv.com it is an extremely powerful photo program and it is very simalar to photoshop...........plus its FREE lol

Well..in my opionion the 600 bucks for PS7 is wellll worth it..but I can see how it could be a dent in the old budget...

As much as I hate the program...look into PaintShop Pro..its like a poor mans photoshop...and a lot of people swear by it.

I totally forgot about GIMP...the windows version is a tad bit unstable (for me at leasT)..its great for linux users tho..

But yeah..its free..and actually pretty decent...annnnd..its gaining n popularity so you can find books and tutorials on it

also any older version of photo impact by ulead .......i have photo impact 4 it came w/ my printer and it is were i got my start w/ a photo editor ........still use it to this day even though i have photoshop 7
