Rose and Crown is a blast!! I agree, the architecture is wondeful, as is the food, the view during illuminations and the CMs!!! If anyone has facebook, there is a facebook page, dedicated to the Rose and Crown, which myself and some other wonderful members of wdwmagic belong to, even Carl is on there. Haven't been to either in a few years but I enjoyed R&C better. Food and atmosphere! GG just felt cramped in!

Figgy you have to try the welsh dragon, absolutely lovely!!!!

R&C has ok British food (like there is any other kind ...just kidding ) but the outdoor seating makes the meal. GG has better food in my mind and I love the characters.

Great accents and everytime I go all the people that work there from front of house, wait staff, and bar are awfully nice, energetic, and with an easy-going pleasantness.

Spot on, super pleasant and enjoyable, we love it here for lunch or dinner. I do miss the chicken pasties they use to have but the menu does to tend change with the seasons. I pray TDO leaves the place well alone, (so long le cellier!)

We did Rose and Crown and Garden Grill this past October for dinner, and I would choose Garden Grill hands down. We found the service at Rose and Crown to be slow and the food was mediocre. It was the worst meal of the trip for me (don't order the pork!). We had stellar service at the Garden Grill and the food was great. I had really been looking forward to Rose and Crown and was very disappointed.
