Regarding the "tie" question a few of you asked, I have come up with an idea that should work real well.

I'll start up a seperate poll for the people that are tied, and you can all vote again. This poll would run for 24 hours, and hopefully, the winner would be decided.

Good solution. That also gives you a majority winner, just like elections do with run-offs, unless you are running for President of the USA!

I dont know... I dont like that idea too much....

Those that have voted already.. would they know to come back here and vote again...? ..and it might just be more of a bother to them...

Anyway.. I think, if there is a tie, that each persons banner runs for a month... just an idea.

Obviously the solution wouldn't work if there is a four way tie.

I do tend to agree.. if an even amount of people think that two or more entries are equally great, then maybe they should all get a fair chance in the spot light. Or maybe Steve can have different banners at the top of different pages.

Maybe we should vote on it. :lol:

I second that! Even if there isn´t a tie!

The votes have been very close so if the difference is minimum like 1 or 2 votes, it´s fair that each of them get a chance to be on top for a while.

I agree with putting each banner up for a couple of weeks. Depending on who the winner is, they get thiers up longer.

With the way voting is right now...
MSU 30%
DMC 30%
DCP 26%
DCA 14%

Given a 10 week run: we could give 3 weeks each to MSU and DMC. 2 weeks to CP, and 2 weeks to DCA.

Well, if there isn't a clear cut winner, I'll let Steve decide how it's gonna happen. I thought the 24 hour poll idea was fair because it played equally in either participants hands, so there was no advantage to either one. That was really my only goal.

If we do the "run everyone's banner for a certian period of time" it's fine with me, as long as everyone doesn't think that every contest will be the same way. It certainly wouldn't work for the next contest, which is a completely new idea from Steve that will get A LOT more participants.

Blah, blah, blah......anyway, let's see how it turns out.......
