All your criticisms are super valid. It would have been a much stronger project had we just focused on three or four things. At a certain point the communication got so jumbled that I just kind of threw my hands up and resigned to just do a passion project, continuity be dammed.

Lol I wasn't thinking about the gross out humor in the context of a dinner show. That's honestly a great point. That kind of stuff would throw me right the hell off if I was eating there.

I honestly don't even know where the idea of doing an American Idol parody came from beyond just needing some kind of framing device. To my own comedic sensibilities the concept is SOOO out dated that it loops back around to being ironically funny, but I could totally see how it would just be tired for most people.
