Virtual Concierges?

I know they had this at the CR....do they still have the computers at the CR in the rooms - and what is this?

I heard rumors that it would be rolled out at other WDW resorts...

It may be all far fetched rumor - but it comes from a WDW source...just wondering if anybody has heard any factual info on this?

The in room computers at the Contemporary were sort of a test program that apparently did not work out to well as they have been removed from the Contemporary and as far as I know have not made it into any other resorts either.

Do not jump to conclusions. Just because a test is ended, it does not indicate that the test was not successful.

Just going off the facts. If the computers were the best thing since sliced bread why were they removed during the refurb and why were they not installed when BLT was built? Logic would dictate that for what ever reason the computers did not work out.

My guess was most people already had stuff planned out... why do stuff they already did. The terminals only let you access the WDW site, you had to pay for accessing anything else.

Some VIP guests were contacted and asked if they would like this online concierge...and it seems there MAY be something very secretive in the works with this again...or not necessarily the same type of thing as was at the CR. It's all very hush hush but rumors have started at a different wdw deluxe resort.

When I heard what it was called - I did immediately think of the CR....but I haven't stayed there in a while and wasn't sure if those computers were even still in the rooms.
