Vinylmation trading boxes to be removed from parks?

I actually really like the Park Starz. They're imaginatively designed and I hope that's where Vinylmation is going.

When I was there in early Feb., a travel companion got two of the same blind-box Park Starz. He went to the register and asked if he could do a trade. The guy said "I'm not supposed to, but today's the last day for any Vinylmation trading park-wide, so... what the hell." So yes, trading's discontinued.

100 percent agree Park starz are where this whole vinylmation thing needs to go. Out of the first 2 sets I believe im only missing 2 and I have a bunch of the different colored versions. Hopefully can get set 3 soon.

Never got into the Park Starz, I think the only one that caught my eye was the Orange Bird figure, but I couldn't be bothered to start blind boxing again for one item. Thankfully, I capped my Vinylmation collection at around 50. At first, I tried to not give into temptation (learned my lesson with pins) but it was actually the trading boxes that pushed me over the edge.

Collected the ones I liked mostly through trading at the resorts (I did manage to pull a Colonel chaser once). I'll tell ya though the best place to do some trading was on a Disney cruise. Made sure to stop by the shops every night right before dinner and usually found some nice offerings. Although, my last two cruises the box could not be found. Very disappointing.

The Park Starz vinyls really are the best ones. That's a fact. I don't have very many, but the ones I have are the highlight of our collection.

I like to collect them but I can agree that sales are down, I guess most tourist have no idea what the little Vinyl mickeys are.

This is why I liked Park Starz people know what most of them represent when they look at them so they could be more appealing instead of 1000000 mickey shaped characters that all had different paint on them.
