This is just awesome. Granted, the guy is obviously a theater major or professional, so I wouldn't imagine this working for us average joes. Either way, I thought this was fannnnntastic!

I tried for a bit to track down the source of this video and really wasn't able to. I'd like to know if the 'extras' in it are CM's or if the guy just got his theater friends to join in?

Actually, now that I think about it, I'd almost bet this guy is a cast member himself? I mean, he has a camera on a second story of one of the buildings, he has a wireless microphone hooked up to it, etc.

Either way - a very impressive proposal and one that she will never forget!

Can you be sure? Perhaps this guy works for Disney, suggested it to management and pitched it as an idea to promote the park. Sure, it looks pretty fake but it could just be one very well planned proposal!

No matter how well staged, just think for a moment...

You have two expertly manned fixed cameras (one on the roof) and one mobile, over 14 extra's

The girl while "surprised" is not so overwhelmed as to cry, hide her face or break her part of the coreography.

There have been many staged and CM/Disney assisted proposals, but none anywhere near this level. Even as CM's, they wouldn't have this kind of pull. Noone short of Hanna Montana would.

While they did kiss at the end...did anyone say that they loved the other?

Finally look at the youtube posting. Isn't it a bit unusual that you have proper DL nomenclature and a DisneyParks "What Will You Celebrate" logo link?

Compare it to this video, that while fully blocked and edited by Disney was an actual proposal.

Something on the boards sparked my curiousity to youtube 'disney proposals' and the like.... I was addicted. But I was also expecting to find more than I did. I eventually confessed to my boyfriend that I was guilty of this...:lookaroun

I just assumed they were CM's since he said "we met one year ago today here". Who else would meet a stranger in a park & date them without actually working there? I figured it would be rare. But I guess I never thought about all the fixed cameras & whatnot.

I did find this on the official Disney youtube as Yoda re-posted for us. It's a shame.. as corny as it may be, you'd have to applaud a guy who put that together as he did!
