Video games at Epcot?

Totally agree...Mario is on the boring side. But the Zelda franchise is truly awesome...

Heres a pic of the current setup for gaming, its really kind of sad. The games in there now are not to demonstrate new gaming technology and cutting edge videogames, its just to promote Disney movies game adaptions.

That's basically it. Plus, they are a placeholder until another company comes in and they revamp that part of innoventions with a new venue. Don't look for that anytime soon though. Look for replacements for the Xavix baseball and bowling game, Forests for our Future, and the Seimens venue, more and likely to replace the old Lutron venue.

If anyone wants to see somewhat of the old Innoventions Sega setup, DC Torrents just posted The Making of Innoventions. An old program that aired on the Disney Channel shortly before Innoventions opening. It doesnt show the show floor but it does show some of the planning and concept art for it, very cool stuff

Some people just get desperate. Geez, I haven't been to Innoventions in what, 3 or 4 years. Just rather spend my time on rides. I suppose it would be a good bypass while waiting for your fastpass.

Innoventions definitely has a niche crowd. Its biggest fans are the technogeeks, older guests, and hot guests. Now if it rains, everyone is a fan. :lol: Me, I make magic there, so I love it.

DC Torrents also has my Spaceship Earth 94 and DisneyVision VR tribute video, with footage from Innoventions circa 1995 including the Sega display

I work at innoventions and DDR has been gone for almost a year now. So no DDR, no Kingdom Hearts. That was taken out of the videogames section to put in "cars" and segway central used to be the DDR area and whatnot.

In innoventions west they recently (as in two days ago) added the XBOX 360 with that car game in which I don't know about. They still have who wants to be a millionaire since the one at MGM studios is being removed this week to makeway for sometype of shooting game I hear with villians. Or that's what another cast member told me so who knows. And the gamecubes were taken out I think....I'm sleepy have the time when I pass through the IBM section to go to bug tunnel =D

Sooooo if you're looking for videogames, you won't find them at innoventions, unless you're a teenager or kid. CARS, INCREDIBLES , CHICKEN LITTLE AND SOME FOOTBALL. =D
