Via Napoli has a Cafeteria Feel

There has been occasional talk about that, but it has never materialized.
I can believe that... though I have not eaten there. I suspect it's a very GOOD Pizza Place - but I'm not taking my wife out for Pizza when we're on a serious vacation.
I couldn't agree with you more. I am in WDW with all the many wonderful things to try and eat that I do not have at home. The DWF and I love to go out and eat a fresh pizza hot out of the oven once in awhile back home.

The restaurant is loud, but I think the quality of the food detracts from it a bit. I've lived in central NJ my whole life and have had pizza from some truly great, "authentic" pizza parlors. And to be honest, Via Napoli was better than most of them, and is quite honestly the best pizza I've had outside of the New York/New Jersey area. I'm a bit snooty when it comes to my pizza, and I left Via Napoli feeling satisfied, full, and with memories of one heckuva pizza. The rest of my party felt the same way.

Just ate there on 12/12. DH & I actually loved the pizza- and I've had pizza in Italy before too. I thought their tiramisu was extremely authentic and absolutely loved it. And I didn't feel that the atmosphere was like a cafeteria at all.

Thanks. I really thought I was going nuts. I wish they would have a slice window, because I wanted to try it, but it is so hard to fit in another sit down meal.

To each their own, I suppose. We ate at Via in mid-November & loved it. Didn't get a cafeteria vibe at all. Everyone has their likes/dislikes. For us, this was a big thumbs-up. We'll be back. :slurp:

Well I am glad to hear that they are selling by the slice until Jan. 7. I will be there next week and will be happy to try a slice. I was going there anyway but now can see if I like it before ordering a whole pizza the next time.
