So just over $200 per point. Wonder what the price will be after incentives, and how many points you’ll need to buy to get any reduction. I’ll bet if you buy at least 200 points the price will come down under the $200 mark.

I would agree. Likely near $210 a point without incentives. Given RR sales my guess is even 150 points will have incentives.

Once again, glad that I bought a sufficient number of points back in 1998. 220 points at Old Key West for a total of $11,044, or about $50 per point.

I went back and looked at old videos. They changed it to $31,000 in DVC ads when they set the minimum purchase at 150 points.

DVC was a steal through the first 4 resorts. Now the math doesn’t even always work for resale.

You sure? I ask for a legit reason. RR was at $201 (just over $30k) and just went up to $207 which would finally put that in line with the amounts listed....

RR also has an end date of 2070. VGF will still be 2064 so prices may be in line with that $207 or so that RR and Aulani will be.

Weird.... unless the update that disclaimer over time. Aulani never made it to thar price until this month. So strange.... not doubting you, DVC just has me confused lol

Pricing does start at $207 as advertised in the promo videos. They must update disclaimer prices regularly.

Grand Floridian Add-On Discounts Effective March 3

125-149 points: $8 off per point
150-174 points: $10 off
175-199 points: $13 off
200-249 points: $21 off
250-299 points: $22 off
300-499 points: $28 off
500-999 points: $31 off
1000+ points: $33 off

The above discounts are valid only until March 30, 2022, at which time the incentives will decline by $3-5 per point to the following:

I checked when prices first came out (midnight 3 Mar 2022) so brokers may have already adjusted; but at that time in the VGF resale market ...

• 33 of 53 (62%) of all resale listings are now cheaper direct
• 40 of 53 (75%) are within 5 USD (resale + 5 USD >= direct)
• 47 of 53 (89%) are within 10 USD (resale + 10 USD >= direct)
• 53 of 53 (100%) are within 17 USD (resale + 17 USD >= direct)

I'm not aware of this happening on this scale before; it will be interesting to see how the market reacts at VGF as well as the other monorail resorts

There’s so many damn contracts live now. Your tool shows like 500 listed for at least 2 months? I’ve been expecting prices to adjust for a while now but it seems like the brokers are manipulating their sellers into making sure they maintain price integrity everyone is content to just chill.

End of June completion for the Resort Studios.
March 14th booking opens for owners
May 13th for non owners.

Not surprising. I think resales were artificially high due to the insane direct price they has before.

Honestly, I like the two beds and the single sleeper sofa. The pull out sleeper sofas I slept on recently were pretty impressively uncomfortable.
