I'm in total shock. Heartbroken. Like someone else mentioned, he was one of the first ones who reached out to me when I joined.

Does anyone know how old he was? His profile says 116 but that was just his sense of humor.

I hate this. He was one of my favorite posters here and he was nothing but amazing to me. I never met him, but I can safely say he changed my life for the better. I just can't believe he's gone.

I will really miss Unkadug like other have said he was one of the first people to welcome me in September of 2008.
For 8 years he was a friend, and was one of my best allies. Be happy where ever you are

I'm stunned and saddened to read this news. Unkadug was always nice to me, as well as many people on the forums. He will be missed, but not forgotten. May he RIP.

Someone commented here about hoping for "a great big beautiful tomorrow". I am convinced there will be, because of Unkadug's legacy.

I really can't believe he is gone. I'm glad to have been able to talk to him and get to him all these years. He was such a recognizable figure around here and I never expected that he would welcome me into his his group like he did.

Things won't be the same without him.

Wow, such terrible news. While I haven't been active in the forums for several years, I do lurk on occasion and am very saddened to hear of Doug's passing. I hope those who loved him can heal in time.
