VERY odd question...

Okay, so I feel weird asking this question but it is a genuine fear of mine because where I am from my boyfriend and I get constant unfair treatment because we are an interracial couple. This is our big trip, and my boyfriends first trip, that we have been saving for since October 2011 and I just don't want to endure that while I am in the happiest place on earth. Has anyone experienced this or have any good stories to tell?

Sorry if this question is...irrelevant? I'm just curious.

Thanks for your responses!!

Here's a pic of us! We are obvious Disney fans!

I am a white redhead Scottish lass, my husband's 100% Blackfoot Indian, our daughter (not adopted) looks Hispanic. I don't care what people see when we're together. My philosophy is, and always has been, "If you don't like the way we look, don't look at us." I think you will find such a mixture of people at WDW, you won't have to worry.

6TH year in a row at Disney and I can assure you..there is every size, race, color and sexual preference that attends WDW. I can honestly say I have never been anywhere that has such an accepting array of people from all walks of lands be it Cast Member or Park Visitor. Hope that helps! Relax and enjoy yourselves..you'll have a blast!!:)

Disney employees just want your money, Florida locals have the everyday experience of living in a very diverse part of the country, and other tourists won't care what you're doing as long as it isn't blocking their path to Space Mountain. Nothing is guaranteed, but you should be fine.

Well I'am a 6 ft blond highlander with fair skin and a long ( 10" ) pony tail..My DW is a 5"4" Galloway Scots/Irish lass with dark skin..Last year at WDW we were celebrating our 25th anniversary ( togetherness, not marriage ) The only thing that was curious was a CM at the rope drop at Epcot.( we were first in line at one of the turnstiles ) noticed we were wearing 25th anniversary buttons..She kinda gave me the one look over ( I'am 14 years older than Mrs Hatter, and it shows.) Anyway, she congratulated us but asked me if my DS,who was standing at my side, was my grandson ? He was 14,but I got this feeling she was trying to work it out. But no way was I offended,in fact, quite the opposite. So back to your question..No way will you encounter any problems,it is the most magical place on earth..Go forth and enjoy folks.;) And if you ever see a 6ft blond fair haired pony tailed man with a wee dark skinned lass, smile and say Hello! :D It could be us.:joyfull:
