So if I am in WDW on my vaca at All Star Sports. Lets say for 2 or 3 nights I want to pay for a room at All Star Sports because I want to have my own room, or for whatever the reason being can I use my AP to get the discount rate?

Yes you read that right!

I have a reservation this month for 9/23-10/05 but Im think about getting a preferred room or just another room in general. Will I be able to use the AP rate while Im booked in another room that I didnt use my AP rate on but Im in that room under free dining.

I don't see why you couldn't. You can only book one room with the AP discount, but if you have another room without it, Disney will gladly take your money.

Monty, you have any idea what the price per night will be during that time?
:ROFLOL:

Not a clue.

AP rates are unpredictable and unreliable. I'd suggest booking through KK, give them any info that might get you a discount [AP, AAA, etc...] and let them get you the best rate they can.

Checked the passholder site... no passholder rates were available for any of the value resorts for your dates. I put in a bunch of 2-3 night dates to try and get something, but nothing came up. Sorry. :(
