VCR or DVD players in WDW Resort Rooms?

We are going to be staying at Old Key West (2 Bedroom), and Port Orleans French Quarter next week, and I was wondering if there are VCR's or DVD players in any or some of the WDW Resort Rooms?

I've stayed at Old Key West several times, and I know we've had DVD players and VCR's before, but are they in all of the rooms? Is it just DVD players now?

Thanks!!!

Heading for the great escape.
I recall a VCR at FW two years ago and think it was a VCR at the Boardwalk this summer, only hotel I recal a DVD was the Hard Rock.

Probably wrong though.

We stayed at Port Orleans last August, though it was Riverside, I don't think it would make too much of a difference from French Quarter - anyways, we had neither a DVD player nor VCR in our room. It must only be in select resorts, because when we stayed at the cabins in Fort Wilderness the year before, we did have a VCR.

We didn't look into seeing whether they were available, so I'm not sure about that. Have a great trip!

We stayed at POR last summer (next door & very comparable to the POFQ) & there were no VCRs or DVD players.
Sorry!

Your 2 BR suite @ OKW will have at least one DVD player. Possibly as many as 3 (one in each bedroom, plus one in the living room) but there will definitely be at least 1.

If entertainment is important, then as others have said, most TVs at WDW resorts, if not ALL, have front inputs, which you can use for one of those small el cheapo DVD players most stores use as a loss-leader (saw many a 20-dollar DVD player this weekend), a potable DVD player with an AV output, a video game console, a camcorder, or an MP3 player, whether it's just for the audio or if it's an MP3 player with video capability.

Thanks everyone! I thought that we'd probably have at least one DVD player in our 2 bedroom suite at OKW. I think there used to be VCR's in the OKW suite rooms a few years back too.

Actually, I don't plan on sitting around watching DVD's, but I am planning on recording some of the Resort TV so that I can watch it when I get "Homesick for WDW" when I return to my real home. That's why I was asking: "VCR or DVD players?" I'll just bring my own VCR.

(I know some of the new Resort TV is available on mousebits, but there are a few channels missing).
