I am so mad! I had forgotten that they cancelled Vault Disney so I just went to my room and went to watch Walt Disney Presents! (during the summer I watched it almost every night sometimes even the 3 clock one) And I was so MAD to see Sister Sister! What the hell! I though Sister Sister was from the WB? So why would they play an old boring sitcom from another company (I dont remember if it was from the WB)! The whole ides for that show is WOW look were twins and we never knew it!

AND EVEN BETTER IS THAT I AM 16!!! SO NOT EVERY 13-17 YEAR OLD WANTS TO WATCH THEIR CRAP!! It just makes me sick! I loved inside out (was that the name?) That was the first time I realized that there was a park "where Mickey lives" and that made me want to go so bad!!!!!

The disney channel wonders why NICKELODEON is so much better them! Hmm can we bring up Disney's stupid ZOOGs? With Nick they change their mascots! I remember Stick Stickly Boney and others! and with Nick they have a wide selection of shows! FOR EVERYONE! Mornings they have Nick Jr. Afternoons they have shows like Spongebob! and at Night they have Nick at Nite!

Grr this just makes me sick!

Why would ANY channel try to get any kind of rating at NIGHT! People normally sleep at night! Im sorry but if I was watching late night TV I would never ever say "OMG its time for Sister Sister" Ok I think Im done becasue the more I type the more I want to destroy the Disney Channel!

And now I need to find a new avator lol I knew someone I would find someone with the same picture as me! LOL

Sister, Sister first aired in April 1994 as a mid-season replacement on ABC, and continued on that network until the series moved to the WB in the fall of 1995.

Actually, they might have a point there. With Disney releasing all of the new "Disney Treasures" DVD collections, they will probably be releasing more of the programs shown on Vault Disney. They have already released "Disneyland U.S.A", which is a collection of "Disneyland" and "Wonderful World of Color" episodes. I woudl bet we will be seeing more of these shows on these collections, as a new wave of them are comming out soon.

Actually, Marc, all I'm saying is to maximze $$$ you give nothing much away. I got 'Vault Disney' and it's predicesor on C-band 15 years ago. In those days, Disney was a premimun, and they just ran the sequence of all the old 'Disneyland', 'Wonderful World of Color', 'Wonderful World of Disney' etc. each night. Very predictible. I even got the old 'Disney Channel 2' (I doubt many people even remember that one... it only lasted 1 year). They have been slowly closing the faucet. Made for TV stuff; Avonlei (with CBC), Ocean Girl ect. came 15 years ago, and now we are at the Zoog stage. At each stage there was less of the old. No, Di$ney never maketed ALL the old stuff; there isn't enough shelf space! But they aren't going to give anything away.

Pity. I guess we are asking for a "Disney Classic Movie" channel; DCM... But they couldn't let it interfere with making $$$.

I think it is pretty bad what they did, I swear I've seen the same episode of Boy Meets World, Sister Sister, and some others about 3 times during the day and night! Even though I enjoy some of the shows somewhat, they are gonna play them out. Example: They just started showing Sister Sister, and I bet they have already played nearly half or more of all the episodes. I really do wish they would put the theme park related Vault Disney shows on DVD (unedited of course) but who knows.

This was the only thing I saw as positive when they did this...

The shows are going to be so played out soon that people aren't going to want to watch them at all. It will kind of be like what ABC went through with millionare. I hope that the ratings start to drop and then they will realize that it was a bad move.

The reason they were so played out is because they only showed the same few programs over and over. there are 1000s of hours of Disney television material they could have shown that I remember seeing as a kid and never saw on the Vault

I really wish I paid attention to them while I was younger, all I can really remember was Ernest goes to Splash Mountain
I thought it was funny back then! All I can remember is him going through this tunnel with all weird lights, and him going upsidedown and turning into a grandma during the ride, which was all crazy!

I don't think they will be played out enough, they have been showing Boy meets world for quite some time now, and I've seen probably the whole series a few times. I would not be surprised if they renamed the whole channel from "The Disney Channel" to "Zoog Disney". They truely have taken over the channel, and I don't think there are any commercials not to do with "zoogs" (other than the Animal Kingdom one which I haven't seen since the close of Vault Disney) really a shame.

Read my comphrensive post in General Discussion, not sure if I'm allowed to copy/paste. (Last post in Page 2).

About the scheduling, it's always fun! Here's an idea to take the place of the DISNEY CHANNEL, and move Zoog Disney to its own channel...Toon Disney would also contain most of the toons (Gummi Bears/Rescue Rangers/etc.)

PLAYHOUSE DISNEY: 6AM - 1 PM
Bear in the Big Blue House
Rollie Pollie Ollie
Stanley
The Book of Pooh
Dumbo Circus
PB&J Otter
Jim Henson's Mother Goose Stories (??)

AFTERNOON: 2 PM - 6 PM
The House of Mouse
The Ink and Paint Club
Dinosaurs/The Muppet Show (Jim Henson)
Disney's Inside Out

EVENING - 6 PM - 6 AM (Vault Disney - OUT of the Vault! - renamed to WALT DISNEY PRESENTS)
Walt Disney Hour (Various episodes through the night of Disneyland, WWWoC, etc.)
The Disney Insider
Evening Film 1
Late Nite Film
The Ink and Paint Club
The Mickey Mouse Club
Zorro
Spin and Marty
Around the Disney Parks (Used to be part of Walt Disney Presents)
Character? Special (Evening focus on a certain Disney character; i.e. Ludwig Von Drake episodes, similar to Ink and Paint, but broader focus, and more like, say "Toon Heads"?)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

This should prove to be a fairly exciting, fully Disneyesque and VERY appealing to families! As far as the toons, there's a whole channel dedicated to it....I think this would be a winner.

Wouldn't it be so great to watch families at 7:00 - kids/parents - watching Walt?

Wow.
